FEEDBACK

When providing feedback on the Xbox Game Pass App beta, you grant Microsoft permission to use, share, and commercialize it freely. You also grant third parties patent rights necessary for their products, technologies, and services to interact with any specific parts incorporating your feedback from Microsoft. Please avoid feedback that may require Microsoft to license its software to third parties.

PRE-RELEASE SOFTWARE

The Xbox Game Pass App beta is a pre-release edition and may not function correctly or resemble the final software version. Changes may occur in the transition to the commercial release, or a commercial version may not be launched.

Ways to use

Can't sign in to your Xbox console after changing your password

If you can't sign in to your Xbox after changing your Microsoft account password, it might be because your console hasn't received your account's new password information. To fix this problem, try the solutions on this page.

Solution 1: Restart your console

- Press and hold the Xbox button in the center of your Xbox controller to open the Power Center.

- Select Restart console.

- Select Restart.

- After your console restarts, try signing in again.

Solution 2: Delete and re-add your account to your console

Step 1: Delete your account from your console

- Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

- Select Profile & system > Settings > Accounts > Delete account.

- Select your account, then confirm the deletion.

- Restart your console (see the steps in Solution 1).

Step 2: Add your account back to your console

- Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

- Select Profile & system, then select Add or switch.

- Select Add new.

- Enter your Microsoft account email address and password.

- Finish personalizing setup on the next few screens.

Change your Xbox gamertag

You can change your Xbox gamertag on the web, on your Xbox console, or on a Windows device.

On the web

1. Go to the official website:

Select a new gamertag

2. Sign in with the Microsoft account email address and password associated with your Xbox profile.

3. Confirm that you're signed in to the right account by making sure your current gamertag is displayed in the upper-right corner of the page after you sign in.

Gamertags can be up to 12 characters, including spaces. They can't start with a number. If you get a message that says "That name isn't available. Try something else," you need to create a different gamertag.

4. Enter the new gamertag you want in the text box, then select Check availability. You might get a message that the gamertag you want isn't available. If so, try again until it's available.

5. On the next page, see how your gamertag looks in the Xbox service.

6. If you're happy with your new gamertag, select Apply.

On the console

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide, then go to Profile & system.

2. Select your Xbox profile (or choose Choose profile and sign in to your account).

3. Select My Profile > Customize Profile, and then select your current gamertag.

4. Under Choose a new gamertag, enter the gamertag you want in the text box, and then select Check Availability. You may receive a message that the desired gamertag isn't available. If so, try again until it's available.

5. On the next page, see how your gamertag looks in the Xbox service.

6. If you're happy with your new gamertag, select Change Gamertag.

    I really like this service. You should have a controller for most games and not all games can be played on cloud, but many can. A good network connection is necessary; 4g doesn't work for me. At home with fiber, streaming is smooth. Keep in mind that DLCs are not included for all games I've tried, but it's okay for me. This is the beta version, so there might be problems. If that bothers you, try the other one.

    There is definitely some room to make it even better, but overall, this prototype platform offers a glimpse into the exciting future of mobile gaming. It's cool, but it seems like they're not rushing to improve it fast. It may not be top-notch for high-quality gaming right now, but it's great for playing when you're not near your console or computer. Just make sure you have a good internet connection and decent device because most games won't run smoothly on older tech.

    The streaming is good if your network can handle it and there are plenty of games to choose from. The only problem is the annoying scrolling in the app. I have to scroll really slowly or else the screen bounces back the other way.

    Imagine Netflix, but for games. It's fantastic! I can easily play on my old android without any problems, just by installing the app. It feels like console gaming, and I'm really enjoying it. The best part is being able to PvP on Black Desert Online through my android with almost no lag.

    So, it turns out that whenever you have reversed numbers like 24 and 42, the numbers 3 and 11 play a special role. If you add or subtract these reversed numbers, the sum or result is always divisible by 3 or 11. Also, when you multiply or divide these numbers, the product and quotient will also be divisible by 3 or 11. To check if this pattern is always true, computers can be used to test numerous examples efficiently. This applies to any type of equation involving reversed numbers, which makes it interesting to investigate further.

    I can play halo in my bed using my 8t, which is awesome. You need a good router and fast internet speed to make it work smoothly. I experience some slow downs and freezes, but overall it's nice. I recommend using the Moga Xbox controller for Android phones.

    App works fine on my Samsung Galaxy A21. Smooth experience without issues. Could use more games, but I think they're adding more. Rated 4 stars as the app is still in beta. It's great to have, even though you need to pay to play on mobile.

    Feedback on Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass app includes requests for cross-platform play, improved loading times, the ability to select consoles for game installation, personalized game recommendations based on playing and rating games, addition of original Xbox games with online multiplayer and DLC, achievement earning for Microsoft Rewards quests, more game genres and collections, and enhanced touch controls for playing Xbox games on mobile and tablet devices.

    Owning Xbox Game Pass on Chromebook is awesome because it lets you install games and check your Xbox One console storage. XCloud is part of it but streaming games lags and stutters, so adding options like low resolution or better connection for smoother gameplay on Chromebook would be fantastic.

    You like it a lot! You have some ideas. You want to play Spore in the Cloud System. You also want all PC games available in the cloud. Especially, you really want Spore. Also, you suggest having touch controls for all games for people without controllers.
