Westpac One NZ Mobile Banking - Banking & managing finances

Westpac One is online banking that's more convenient, faster, and more intelligent than ever before.

With this app, you can perform a wider range of banking tasks from anywhere. In addition to the standard operations like transferring money and making payments.

All these functionalities are supported by Westpac's top-notch online security system, Online Guardian.

Getting started is simple–if you're already a Westpac One online banking customer, just download the app and start managing your finances right away. If you're a Westpac customer but not yet registered for online banking, contact us or visit a branch to register.

By downloading and setting up the Westpac One smartphone app, you agree to the applicable Terms and Conditions, including Westpac’s General Terms and Conditions, Electronic Banking Services Terms and Conditions, and Website Terms of Use.

Some important pointers to keep in mind:

- This app is exclusively for Westpac New Zealand Limited customers who are registered users of the Westpac One online banking service.

- Always follow the manufacturer's software and support guidelines to ensure your devices are updated for security.

- Set up a PIN or password to lock your smartphone and activate them when not in use.

- Contact Westpac immediately if your device is lost or stolen.

- The app is free to download, but internet data charges may apply depending on your mobile service.

- Any information provided during the app setup will be used in accordance with Westpac New Zealand's privacy regulations.

- Westpac reserves the right to modify or suspend the operation of the Westpac One online banking platform and the app at any time.

Using Westpac One app:

1. In the 'Accounts' screen you can view balances, account and loan details, or your hotpoints® balance, just click on the relevant item. You can also view the details of a transaction by clicking on it. From this screen, you can complete tasks such as applying for loans and opening accounts. 

2. In the 'Pay & Transfer' screen, you can move money between your accounts, pay a person or bill, set up automatic payments, and make overseas payments. Select the 'Planned payments' tab to see and manage a list of upcoming payments. Select ‘Manage Payees’ to view and search your saved payees, edit the details of these payees, or add new ones. You can also make a payment to a saved payee from this screen.

3. The 'Timeline' screen shows all your banking transactions - past, present and future - for all your accounts in one place. Easily search and filter your transactions here. 

4. From the 'Cards' screen, you can manage how your card best works for you. Turn contactless payments or Automatic Billing Updater on or off. Block your card if it is lost, stolen or subject to fraud. Credit card holders can also choose to turn the Cash Advance feature on or off.
