Partnering with Cenomi to bring the Westfield brand to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

URW has signed a strategic and franchising partnership with Cenomi Centers to expand the Westfield brand to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

Cenomi Centers will exclusively license the Westfield brand within the KSA shopping centre market, rebranding up to 8 of its centres in the Kingdom, and bringing a new, unparalleled shopping experiences to consumers in the region. The strategic and franchising partnership will initially last for 10 years, with the option to extend it for an additional 10 years.

As the leading owner, operator, and developer of flagship shopping centres in Saudi Arabia, Cenomi Centers has a portfolio of 21 assets strategically positioned in 10 major cities. With this new partnership, Cenomi Centers will integrate the Westfield brand vision and URW’s industry-leading operational standards into its key assets.

The partnership will focus initially on flagship destinations in the three largest cities in KSA: Jawharat Jeddah, Jawharat Riyadh and Nakheel Dammam, the top shopping centre in Saudi Arabia’s third largest city. URW will also provide support in key areas including leasing, operations, marketing and retail media, helping to deliver the exceptional promise of our brand to local visitors.
