Reading and browsing emails

Read your emails and browse your inbox email by email without returning to the folder overview.

Open your inbox or another email folder.

A list of emails will appear. Unread messages are displayed in bold.

Tap an email from the list to open it.

The email will be displayed with the subject, sender name, and email body.

To go to the next email in the list, touch and hold the email body and drag the email to the right. To go to the previous email, drag the email to the left.

Reading the extended header in the WEB.DE Mail app for Android

The extended header of an email contains relevant information that tells you about the email's origin and its path through the internet.

You can read the extended header and thus track the sending history of an email using the following steps:

Open the email whose extended header you want to read in your WEB.DE Mail app for Android.

Temporarily disable external content in your account settings.

Tap Show details below the sender's name.

Tap Message details.

A window opens with the extended email header information.
