If the volume controls on your device are not functioning properly, you can access the built-in volume control with just a single tap! That's the sole purpose of this app ;-)
There's no advertising or data collection involved!
Interested in having a floating volume control? Simply long press the app icon and select Settings from the menu that appears. This will enable floating controls to appear on top of other applications. You can drag it to your desired location and long press again to access the Settings (there's also an option to restrict dragging to long presses only).
For devices running Android 7 and above, you can utilize a Quick Settings tile to display a volume control above the Notifications panel.
You can also access shortcut actions (available for Android 7.1 and above) by long pressing the app icon to adjust the mode:
- Normal
- Silent
- Vibration
Volume Control Widget: A Simple, Elegant Solution for Effortless Audio Management
As someone who values both functionality and simplicity, I found the Volume Control Widget to be an incredibly practical and reliable tool for managing device audio with minimal effort. This app does one thing—and does it perfectly: it provides instant, one-tap access to your volume controls, bypassing any hardware issues or system delays. Whether my physical buttons were unresponsive or I simply wanted quicker access, this widget delivered every time. The interface is clean, intuitive, and completely free of ads or data tracking—a refreshing change in today’s app ecosystem.
What truly impressed me were the thoughtful extras. The floating volume control—activated via a long-press on the app icon—is a game-changer for multitaskers, allowing seamless audio adjustments over any app or screen. I also loved the Quick Settings tile integration for Android 7+ users, which places volume controls right in the notifications panel for even faster access. The ability to switch between Normal, Silent, and Vibration modes directly from the home screen shortcut made managing profiles effortless. Lightweight, privacy-focused, and designed with the user in mind, this app is a must-have for anyone seeking a no-nonsense solution to volume control.
