What an amazing concept! Services like Vudu and Hulu should definitely jump on this bandwagon. So many movies would be must-haves if I could cut out certain scenes. The way the censoring options work is super easy to use, thoughtful about avoiding spoilers. This approach is fantastic for families aiming to control what their kids experience in movies. It gives parents peace of mind while letting kids enjoy film adventures safely.

VidAngel has become a favorite in my family. Losing it would be heartbreaking. I really appreciate the hard work of actors, directors, and everyone else involved in creating films and shows. Everyone has their preferences and boundaries. Being able to edit out words and images makes such a difference. It lets us enjoy and appreciate the creativity without dealing with elements that don't sit right with us. VidAngel stands out as an incredible company and app. The small subscription fee feels like a steal for the quality entertainment it provides. I recommend it to everyone!

I canceled my membership. I found out the app requires broadband, which was unexpected. Prime and YouTube work well, but this app does not. You pick your streaming service, and it presents all the others, but searching for something to watch is a hassle. You have to sift through so much clutter. When you finally find something interesting, it takes three clicks to get to play it. Often, the content is either available for purchase or locked behind another subscription. There’s no option to filter out what you don't subscribe to.

This app has transformed our family movie nights. We dive into shows we never considered before. No more gripping the remote during tense scenes when the kids are around. Take "Man in the High Castle." A fantastic series, but a couple of brief nude scenes pop up that don’t really add to the story. Now, we can enjoy it without those moments, keeping the experience intact. It brings us all together for some truly enjoyable viewing!

This works amazingly well! It could use a few improvements. Adding screen rotation would be fantastic. Consistent tracking of where I left off would really help. Also, filtering needs to be better. It feels like a spoiler when I search for sensitive topics and see movie content pop up. Update: The team met those requests! I'm giving this 5+ stars now!

Incredible service! It lets you pick and choose every detail to remove from your shows. You can eliminate full nudity, sex scenes, or even specific curse words. The app provides context for each scene too. For instance, if there's a sex scene, it explains if there’s nudity with a man and woman, or same-sex interactions, plus it identifies if it involves violent situations. We managed to watch Game of Thrones together as a family, including our pre-teen and teen kids. Amazing part? Our filters for GOT didn’t alter the storyline at all.
