    This app is a total letdown. Booking a ride feels impossible most of the time. Hours spent trying, only to be met with that annoying "currently experiencing very high demand" message. The app takes forever to load, too. Customer service offers no solutions. It's baffling. For days on end, I get the same high demand message at various times. And when it finally lets me book, the service is sluggish. Drivers and fellow riders seem to have no oversight. I've had enough of this frustration. Time to delete the app.

    Super inconsistent experience. It works well if you don’t mind waiting. I scheduled rides well in advance, but often had to wait until the driver was almost at my location, only to be reassigned to someone much farther away. It gets really inconvenient. They never explain why they switch drivers. If you're going to work, I'd steer clear of this service, regardless of how far in advance you book.

    The direct ride option is a nice surprise. It saves some money compared to the shared ride. The app itself works well, but sometimes the navigation seems a bit off.

    The delays just keep piling up. The app lags, so I never get updates in time. They've switched pickup areas so many times. Just the other night, I had a ride canceled as I stood alone on a dark street with no lights. Frustrating. Then, when I finally got another ride, he was nearby. I didn't catch that the pickup point had changed until the last minute. I ended up walking all the way back to my original spot. It's not just me either. I've had drivers try to drop me off right in the middle of the street.

    The rideshare experience took a nosedive in November. Living in Foggy Bottom, I used to get drivers nearby for my morning commute. Now that Via expanded into Virginia, I'm stuck with drivers coming from places like Fort Myers or Arlington. When I try to cancel and find a new ride, the app just pairs me again with the same distant driver. The estimated pickup time is almost always off. I end up waiting an additional 8 to 10 minutes every time. Pricing feels unfair too. Since I live in Foggy Bottom, the app assumes I have money to burn, which isn’t true. The only silver lining? The monthly pass pricing is low, though I hear it’s even cheaper for those living elsewhere.

    The drivers are great. The app often sends me to a different address that I didn’t choose. This mix-up made me late to an event. The driver searched for me at the wrong location while I waited elsewhere. Please fix this issue. I’ll happily give you 5 stars. Also, remember to check for your belongings before leaving the car.
