The platform offers data obtained from the billing electricity meter. The eLicznik service is accessible to all TAURON Dystrybucja customers who have a Remote Readout Meter (LZO) and have activated automatic communication with the Remote Readout System.
Currently, this service is available to clients involved in AMI class metering infrastructure projects, small energy producers, and industrial users, who are billed under tariff groups: C2x, Bxx, Axx. TAURON Dystrybucja clients can check if the service is available for their area directly on the site.
What advantages does the TAURON eLicznik service offer?
• Access to details regarding one's own electricity usage.
• Ability to compare consumption daily, monthly, and annually.
• Options for setting up email alerts when energy consumption exceeds certain levels.
• Assistance in reducing energy usage.
TAURON Dystrybucja accelerates energy transformation thanks to further funding from the National Resilience Plan (KPO)
We are accelerating the pace of investment and development of modern technologies on an unprecedented scale. We have just secured further funding from the National Resilience Plan (KPO). This represents an additional PLN 4.87 billion for the development and modernization of the power grid, as well as new funds totaling PLN 310 million for digital transformation.
The record-breaking funding from the KPO – PLN 4.87 billion – will increase the loan amount to nearly PLN 15 billion. The funds will be allocated to the transformation of power grids.
Digital transformation for customer safety and comfort – the new agreement provides PLN 310 million for digitalization. Projects will include infrastructure digitization, the implementation of modern communication and teletransmission systems, and systems to reduce grid losses. The largest grid investments in the company's history – the plan calls for the construction and modernization of the company's grid assets, which will increase grid resilience, enable the connection of new renewable energy sources, and introduce solutions that reduce energy costs for customers.
The additional financing means that TAURON Dystrybucja will implement the largest-ever investment package in the development and modernization of the power grid and the digital transformation of its infrastructure.
Customer Safety and Comfort
"We will be the first energy company in Poland to receive funds that will enable advanced digital transformation, the implementation of state-of-the-art service tools, and the digitization of the power grid. These projects will not only increase our customers' energy security but also elevate their customer service," says Marcin Marzyński, Vice President of the Management Board for Customer Affairs.
The "Digital Transformation of TAURON Dystrybucja" project addresses the challenges of a smart, sustainable, and secure distribution grid and includes:
digitalization of grid infrastructure,
implementation of digital radio and teletransmission communication systems and equipment,
delivery of modern mobile devices for field services,
implementation of systems to reduce grid losses.
Thanks to the KPO funds, the distribution grid will gain greater resilience to climate change and unexpected events, as well as the ability to respond quickly. The development of digital systems will enable better integration of renewable energy sources and flexible grid management. But that's not all – some of the funds will be allocated to the development of modern and secure mobile applications and systems that will streamline and facilitate customer interaction across all communication channels.
"Thanks to investments in digitization, customers will gain even greater security, comfort, and convenience – from faster case processing, through intuitive online tools, to a consistent, high standard of service across all communication channels," summarizes Marcin Marzyński.
Record-breaking investment funds
"TAURON Dystrybucja will receive record-breaking funding exceeding PLN 15 billion for the development and modernization of the power grid, enabling investments on a scale never before seen in the company's history. These energy investments will, in turn, enable further economic development in the region within our operating area. We provide connection capacity for businesses while actively listening to the needs of investors and local governments."
— comments Maciej Mróz, Vice President of the Management Board for Operator Affairs.
The investment plan, which is being developed with funds from the National Power Transmission Plan (KPO), is also the result of extensive prior consultations on the company's development plan with stakeholders. The projects will be presented on an interactive investment map available on our website.
The projects in question include:
1,000 km of high-voltage (HV) lines
4,800 km of medium-voltage (MV) lines
21,000 km of low-voltage (LV) lines
140 HV/MV transformers
3,000 MV/LV transformers
3,000 MV/LV stations
50 HV/MV stations (Main Power Supply Points)
2.3 million remotely read smart meters.
The grid modernization will enable the connection of new renewable energy sources, reduce transmission losses, improve energy efficiency and resilience to disruptions and changing weather conditions, and dynamically manage energy flows in real time.
Thanks to the additional funds, TAURON Dystrybucja will also be able to expand its tariff offerings, introducing solutions that allow customers to pay less for electricity and use the grid even more efficiently.
