The Tallinja App boasts numerous features designed to simplify your daily commuting while integrating all transport services provided by Malta Public Transport:

Real-time information: Easily find your nearest bus stop on the map and view all available bus routes to reach your desired destination. Access real-time details by tapping on your closest bus stop.

Real-time bus tracking: Monitor your bus in real-time as you wait at the bus stop. After selecting your nearest stop, choose “Show buses on the map in real-time” to see the location of the bus you're anticipating.

My Cards: This section enables you to add, manage, and oversee multiple payment methods. You can also link your personalized Tallinja Card or Flex Card with the app, allowing you to view transaction history, make payments for any Tallinja On Demand bookings, and stay updated on new travel offers.

The Journey Planner: Organize your bus journeys by selecting both your starting point and destination. The journey planner will provide various bus route options for you to consider.

On Demand: With Tallinja On Demand, you can book a seat on one of our premium buses through this service. Simply indicate your preferred pick-up and drop-off bus stops.

Airport Shuttle: The Malta Transfer service provides an official shuttle option from Malta International Airport. Use the Tallinja App to arrange transportation between the airport and numerous hotels in Malta, as well as to the cruise liner terminal in Valletta.

Favourites: Build a list of your favorite locations by clicking the heart icon on the map view. This can include your most frequented destinations, bus stops, or regular bus routes.

Service Update: Stay informed about alerts or service interruptions by checking the caution signs on the map. Click on the alert tag to access detailed service update information. This feature keeps you aware of any changes that might impact your travels. Push notifications are also available for service alerts pertaining to your saved favorite routes and bus stops, helping you effectively plan your trips and remain updated on disruptions.
