How can I know when my points expire or if I have any membership benefits?

The "My Notifications" on the TGo website and the "Latest News" on the Taiwan High Speed Rail App provide personal notifications, including reminders of upcoming point expiration and the latest promotions.

Members are kindly requested to log in to their accounts regularly to check the bell notifications and get the latest offers and important information immediately.

Why is it that when I use TGo membership websites or the Taiwan High Speed Rail App, I am asked to enter an OTP verification code?

To provide a more secure online experience, passengers must complete the OTP verification process according to system requirements before they can proceed with subsequent operations when using membership-related services on the TGo membership website (including the TGo member area of the Taiwan High Speed Rail App) and the Points 365 platform.

If you are unable to receive the OTP verification code, please go to the TGo member website to confirm that your member information has been changed to a normal email or mobile phone number and complete the relevant verification process.

The "electronic ticket certificate" I opened on the High Speed Rail website or through the T-EX mobile ticketing app on my phone does not contain sensitive personal information. 

Why do I need to enter a password when opening the file?

The "Electronic Ticket Certificate" can be used as a voucher for business tax deduction and output tax and for reporting expenses for business income tax. According to the tax collection principles and audit requirements, the certificate must be set up with relevant verification mechanisms during the query, application and printing process. For example, the verification code uses graphics, text, special character recognition, and is case-sensitive. In accordance with the requirements for online transaction security of financial institutions, the ticket holder must pass the verification and authentication requirements before downloading the "Electronic Ticket Certificate".

"Take the High Speed Rail and Enjoy the Lanterns" - Taiwan High Speed Rail Adds 43 Trains for the 2026 Taiwan Lantern Festival

The 2026 Taiwan Lantern Festival will officially open on March 3rd (the Lantern Festival on the 15th day of the first lunar month) in Chiayi! To enhance service for lantern-viewing passengers, from March 1st to March 15th, in addition to the previously added 38 trains, Taiwan High Speed Rail has announced the addition of 43 trains (23 southbound and 20 northbound), bringing the total number of added trains during the festival (including the two days before the opening) to 81. This represents a significant increase of 50 trains compared to the 2018 Taiwan Lantern Festival held in Chiayi, aiming to provide more ample capacity for passengers to "take the high speed rail and enjoy the lanterns." Additional train services will be available for pre-sale starting February 28th. To meet passenger demand, several additional local trains will run between Taichung and Zuoying, and the number of unreserved seats on some evening trains will be increased to better serve lantern-viewing passengers. Please take advantage of these services. (See attached table for details of additional train services.)

During the lantern festival, there will be large crowds. Taiwan High Speed Rail Corporation recommends that passengers with reserved seats book/collect their tickets in advance so they can directly enter the station upon arrival. Passengers with unreserved seats are advised to purchase their round-trip tickets at the departure station using the automatic ticket machines, or activate Bluetooth in the station hall and purchase unreserved seat tickets departing from that station on the same day through the "T-EX Mobile Ticketing" App to save valuable time. Alternatively, passengers can use their EasyCard/iPass co-branded credit cards (with automatic top-up enabled) to directly enter the station and board unreserved seats on all trains.

During the lantern festival, the Chiayi High Speed Rail Station will implement separate entry and exit flow control measures. The organizers will also implement traffic control around the station area. Passengers traveling to and from Chiayi Station are advised to allow ample time and arrive early to avoid delays due to overcrowding. Additional staff will be deployed at all stations to assist passengers; please cooperate with station staff, queue in an orderly manner, and be courteous to each other to ensure a smooth and enjoyable lantern festival experience.
