How do I sign up for Swapfiets?

Below you'll find the steps to follow to sign up. You can also follow these steps if you want to register again.
How it works:
Go to our website and select your country and language.
Select your city to see which bikes are available.
Also check our service area map below to see if we operate in your area. You can find more information about our service area in this article.
Select your favorite bike.
Determine which bike suits you best, such as our powerful e-bikes or our Deluxe 7 or Original city bikes. Is your favorite bike not available in your area? Click 'notify me' and you'll receive an email when it becomes available. No 'notify me' button? Then we've temporarily stopped accepting new customers for this product in your region. Keep an eye on the website.
Choose your membership.
Select the ideal membership for you: flexible or loyal.
Super-fast delivery.
Choose a quick pickup from our Swapstore or free home delivery. You can schedule an appointment right away when you pick up your bike in the store. For home delivery in the Netherlands, Belgium, and the United Kingdom, you can also schedule a date and time slot. In our other cities, you will receive an email to schedule your delivery.

Note: It's not possible to choose your own bike color, but you can personalize your bike with our free bumper stickers.
Register as a family
Wow, a whole Swapfiets family! To achieve this, everyone needs to create their own account. This way, each bike is linked to the right person. It's possible for one person to pay for all the bikes.
Note: Unfortunately, it's not possible to register without a valid home address.
I'm under guardianship. How do the registration and payment process work?
If you're under guardianship and therefore unable to pay yourself, special conditions apply. Please have your guardian contact us. We'll work with your guardian to process your registration.

What types of subscriptions does Swapfiets offer?
You can choose between a flexible and a loyalty membership. Both subscriptions have a one-month cancellation period.

In most countries where we operate, we offer two types of subscriptions:
Flexible subscription:
Monthly subscription that can be cancelled any time
One-month cancellation period
One-time registration fee (this fee is specified during registration) that will be charged together with the first monthly payment
Loyal 6-month subscription:
6-month subscription
After 6 months, your subscription can be cancelled monthly, with a one-month cancellation period
No registration fee
After your loyalty subscription (6 or 12 months) expires, it will automatically be converted to a flexible subscription. In Germany, England, and France, we offer three types of subscriptions:
Flexible subscription:
Monthly subscription that can be canceled any time

One-time registration fee (this fee is specified during registration) that is charged together with the first monthly payment
Loyal 6-month subscription:
6-month subscription
After 6 months, your subscription can be canceled monthly with one month's notice
A lower monthly price than the Flexible subscription
One-time registration fee (this fee is specified during registration) that is charged together with the first monthly payment
After your Loyal subscription (6 or 12 months) expires, it will automatically be converted to a Flexible subscription.
Loyal 12-month subscription:
12-month subscription
After 12 months, your subscription can be canceled monthly with one month's notice.
The lowest monthly price.

Other subscriptions
Commercial user subscription:
The Commercial user subscription is available for users who use the bike commercially for deliveries.
No longer working in delivery services? We can switch you back to a regular subscription. Feel free to contact us for more information.
No maximum mileage and a specially designed bike for delivery use in Belgium, Berlin, Vienna, and London.
