# Concerning the prayer of salvation:

The unification proposal for the ‘Prayer for Salvation’ of the Rosary, submitted by the Liturgy Committee of the Bishops' Conference, has been reviewed. The prayer was translated into traditional wording (Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from hellfire, please care for the souls in purgatory and the most abandoned souls.), but it was ultimately not included in the Catholic Prayer Book.
