PlayRenfe serves as the platform for Wi-Fi connectivity and entertainment during your travels with Renfe and at Cercanías suburban rail stations. You can connect online using your devices, enhancing your travel experience by working, watching movies, following live football matches, enjoying your favorite shows, and much more.

You can find this service indicated by the PlayRenfe icon next to the door on all train coaches.

The service is available for the entire duration of your journey. To make use of it, please follow these steps:

1.Access the settings on your device and select the PlayRenfe Wi-Fi network available on the train.

2.Log in by selecting one of these three methods:

- Enter your ticket number (you can scan the QR code found on your ticket).

- Use your Más Renfe card number; provide the ID or passport number you used to register with Más Renfe as your password.

- Use a promotional code.

By using our App, you will have access to a variety of content, including new film releases, live football featuring league matches and international tournaments, top series, children's programming, documentaries, games, books, magazines, music, and numerous other offerings.

We recommend using the PlayRenfe App version: Android 8.1 or above (it's compatible with older versions, although some features may be limited).

    Una vez viví una experiencia de usuario increíblemente mala. Intenté usar una aplicación para reservar un viaje. Desde el principio, la interfaz se sintió confusa. Los botones no respondían. Pasé varios minutos tratando de encontrar la opción adecuada. Finalmente, logré avanzar, pero el proceso de pago fue un desastre. La página se colapsó en el momento más crítico. Llamé al servicio al cliente. Esperé mucho tiempo antes de recibir ayuda. Cuando finalmente alguien contestó, parecía desinteresado. No resolvieron mis problemas. Terminé frustrado y sin mi reserva. Esa experiencia me hizo dudar de usar esa aplicación nuevamente. Simplemente no hay excusa para un diseño tan deficiente. La tecnología debe facilitar la vida, no complicarla.

    Really frustrating when you shell out over 100 Euros for tickets and then the app hits you with a request for your Passport or National ID card number. It makes you wonder about the purpose of that. Just feels like an unnecessary step. Definitely not impressed with this app.

    The app is frustrating! The Renfe Wi-Fi looks like it's working, but it really isn't. Don't bother trying to use it. Save your time and energy for something else!

    This device works perfectly. It's designed exclusively for AVE and does not support AVANT. The WiFi function operates smoothly, tested with both the card+ and a free version.

    The train ride felt endless. I kept trying to connect to the Wi-Fi. Nothing happened. Frustration set in. The signal seemed non-existent. People around me were scrolling on their phones, enjoying the online world. Meanwhile, I sat there, disconnected. It made the journey feel longer.
