Economy Class:

• Super Saver: No check-in baggage allowance; only 7 kg of hand baggage is permitted.

• Comfort: Allows 20 kg of check-in baggage.

• Flex: Allows 30 kg of check-in baggage.

Business Studio:

• Allows 60 kg of check-in baggage.

Business:

• Business Comfort: Allows 40 kg of check-in baggage.

• Business Flex: Allows 50 kg of check-in baggage.

Hand Baggage:

• Economy Class: 1 piece up to 7 kg.

• Business & Business Studio: 2 pieces, each up to 7 kg.

Note:

• No single check-in bag should weigh more than 32 kg.

• Total dimensions of each check-in bag must not exceed 158 cm

What is booking status?

If the seats are available the booking will show that the reservation is confirmed. If the seats are not available we do accept some bookings on waitlist. You need to contact Oman Air offices to get the waitlist booking confirmed. A confirmed booking may be cancelled by our reservation system if you fail to purchase the ticket within the time limit prescribed in accordance with the ticketing rules.

Do I need to reconfirm my reservations?

You do not need to reconfirm your Oman Air confirmed bookings. However, please provide your local contact details, and help us to serve you better in the unfortunate event of flight schedule disruption. A mobile number in your record will help us to communicate through Short Messaging Service or SMS. If you are connecting to another carrier please check with the other carrier on their reconfirmation procedure.

What if I just want to obtain flight schedules without making a reservation?

To obtain only our flight schedules, simply visit our schedules page on the web. You will see all the flights available. You can also download our flight schedule in Excel/PDF file format. You can also send SMS to 90910 and obtain the necessary information.

What are the advantages of setting up a Family account?

By setting up a Family account, you can earn miles faster by pooling all the miles earned by your immediate family members in to one account. Whenever a family account member travels, 100% of the miles earned by them will be transferred to the Family head’s account. You may enroll up to eight immediate family members (Father, Mother, Spouse and Children) in your Family account. Whenever they travel, 100% of the Sindbad miles earned by them will get credited directly to the Family Head’s account. Set up a Family account.

Can Family members move up the tiers to Silver and Gold for their travel?

Yes, family members can move up to Sindbad Silver and Gold tiers based on their travel on Oman Air. While the Sindbad miles they earn will get transferred to Family Head’s account, the Sindbad Tier miles that they earn will get credited to their individual account.

I am a Gold/Silver member. Will my Family members also get Gold/Silver card?

Family members will be issued with individual Sindbad numbers and Sindbad cards. Family members have to earn their Tier based on their individual Oman Air flight activities and qualify for Gold or Silver tier. They will not automatically qualify as Gold/Silver member based on your tier. No, your family members will not be eligible to use the privileges associated with your Gold or Silver card.

What is the maximum weight for hand baggage if I have a Zero Weight ticket?

The maximum weight allowed for hand baggage is up to 7kg on all Oman Air flights.

What is the maximum size and weight of each check-in bag?

Linear dimension: 158 cm/62 in (width + height + length)；Weight: 32kg. Baggage that exceeds the standard dimension restrictions are subject to applicable fees. Any bag that exceeds the maximum weight (32kg) restriction will not be accepted, without exceptions.
