Okuyorum - Reading & Writing Skills

Okuyorum (Elementary Reading and Writing app) presents a wealth of engaging content aimed at enhancing children's abilities in reading, writing, and foundational math. This application has been created in line with the new curriculum set by the Ministry of National Education.

Our activities encompass everything from letter recognition to syllable construction, moving through words to sentence formation, as well as rhythmic and speed reading games. Children enjoy a mix of fun and learning with tasks designed to explore mathematical concepts, identify numbers, and understand basic operations. 

Language skills are further developed through interactive games like football, shooting, and bubble popping, while a competitive atmosphere is fostered through duels and word-guessing challenges. Each activity is tailored to support children’s cognitive, social, and emotional growth, providing an enjoyable educational experience for first-grade students in primary school.

It can be used offline at no cost. For usage on your smart board, additional resources are available.

TIPS

- Each lesson is presented in a game-like format. You will see a series of words or syllables that you need to combine to form words.

- Drag and drop the syllables into the input box to form the correct word. The app will provide feedback on your answers, helping you learn the correct word formation. As you complete levels, you'll advance to more complex words and phrases.

- Play memory games to reinforce what you've learned. Match words with their corresponding images to strengthen your memory. Regularly review the words and phrases you've learned.
