Tolls NY serves as the sole official application authorized for E-ZPass NY and Tolls by Mail users, allowing for convenient account management and payment processing. E-ZPass is an electronic toll collection system, which eliminates the need for cash. Tolls and discounts are automatically calculated as an E-ZPass customer passes through the toll lanes. A small electronic device, called a tag or a transponder, is mounted on the vehicle’s windshield. When the vehicle passes through a toll, the tag is read, and the transaction is calculated and processed. Not only is E-ZPass the best way to travel, but you can also save over 20%* on tolls at the George Washington Bridge, Lincoln Tunnel, Holland Tunnel, Bayonne Bridge, Goethals Bridge and Outerbridge Crossing.
