Nettiauto - Car marketplace app

Nettiauto is the leading car marketplace in Finland, where users can discover both pre-owned and new vehicles. It offers a simple process for buying, selling, and trading cars. Within the Nettiauto app, you have the ability to search for all available used and new cars using specific criteria, save your preferred searches, and bookmark interesting listings in your Favorites. Each vehicle listed includes between 1 to 24 images, comprehensive technical specifications, and details about the seller. You can also view questions directed to the seller, locate the seller on a map, and communicate privately with them. By logging in with your Alma credentials, you can post and manage your own listings and respond to inquiries.

1.1 What is Nettiauto?

Nettiauto is a marketplace for used and new cars, where both car dealerships and private sellers advertise. Private sellers' ads are valid for 8 weeks, after which you will receive an email with instructions on how to renew your ad.

1.2 Does the service cost anything?

A service fee of €29.90 is charged to the seller for making a smart purchase (only when the sale is completed).

Advertising on Nettiauto is free for private individuals. The service may have paid sections.

A private individual can have a maximum of three ads at a time and a maximum of five ads in a six-month period in the Alma Ajo marketplaces (Nettiauto, Nettimoto, Nettivene, Nettikone, Nettikaravaani and Nettivaraosa). Advertisement volumes greater than these are considered continuous and professional sales activities carried out for the purpose of generating income, which can be considered a business activity and are therefore also invoiced according to the merchants' price list.

2.1 Does Nettiauto.com require registration?

Nettiauto uses an Alma ID. Registration is required to use certain features. These include, for example, the favorites list, search alert, sending a message to the car owner and submitting an ad.

The user always works in the service under their own name (first name and last name). Reporting in the service requires a confirmed phone number, and the phone number is displayed in the ad information.

2.2 How do I register as a user?

You register by creating an Alma ID for yourself, which is used in addition to Nettiauto, for example, Autotalli, Nettimoto, Nettivinee and Nettikone. Start by clicking the Register link and completing the requested information. Finally, accept the terms and conditions and save your information. Complete your account by activating the account via the confirmation message sent to your email.

2.3 Logging in with Facebook or Google account or Apple ID, and deleting your login

You can easily register and log in to Nettiauto and other Alma Ajo services by logging in with your Facebook or Google account or Apple ID. You will be asked for permission to use the Alma ID application in connection with your account. Read more

2.4 I did not receive the activation email required for registration

If you did not receive the activation email immediately after registering, please wait a moment. If you do not receive the email, you can resend the activation email from the Forgot your password? link in the login window. If you still do not receive the activation link in the email, please contact maintenance using the feedback form.

If you use Gmail email, it is possible that the activation email has gone to the Offers tab in Gmail.

2.5 When I register, the system informs me that the email address is already in use. What does this mean?

Your email address is already registered with a service that uses an Alma ID. The Alma ID is used in most Alma Media services. If you do not remember your password, you can order a new one by clicking the Forgot your password? link in the login window.
