How does the MTailor measurement process work?

The MTailor app uses your phone's camera to measure you for the best fitting clothes you'll own. In under 30 seconds our machine learning algorithm measures you 20% better than a tailor. With your measurements we can make custom clothes, just for you.

What measurements does MTailor use to make clothing?

We take 9 upper body measurements and 7 lower body measurements to create your custom fit. For more detail on each of our products:

What items of clothing do you make?

For men, we currently make suits and blazers, a variety of pants including jeans, button down shirts, polos and tees. For women, we currently make jeans. We are planning to add more soon!

What do I do if I'm not happy with my order?

Are there any options available that are not on the app right now?

All of our available options are on the iOS and Android app.

What about monograms?

We offer monograms of up to 3 letters for most of our garments.

What currency are your prices listed in?

All of our prices are in US Dollars (USD).

When will I be charged for my order?

We only charge for a purchase after we have successfully processed the measurements from your video.

How will the transaction appear on my credit card statement?

Usually, the charge will come from MTailor, but for some accounts, the charge will be listed under Stripe, which is the payment platform that we use.

Why does my charge say "Recurring"?

Some customers may see this label associated with their transaction because our payment platform cannot store CVC codes to obey PCI Compliance. As a result, some payments made with saved payment information are marked as ‘recurring’ so the card-issuing bank knows why charge requests are missing that information. Rest assured that you will NOT be charged again unless you place another order through our app or website..

How long will it take to receive my order?

At the moment, we expect the following delivery times for our products within the United States. Please notes that these are estimates, not guaranteed timelines.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is free in the United States, $30 flat rate per order elsewhere. For deliveries outside of the US, additional import duties may be applied upon receipt of your order. MTailor is not responsible for any import/customs duties and in the case of a return these charges cannot be refunded.

Where do you deliver?

We deliver to almost all destinations except for the EU and Nigeria. Currently, due to disruptions to delivery service, we may not be able to fulfill your order if you live outside of the US. Please see the most up-to-date USPS delivery alerts here.

Can you expedite shipping?

Typically, we can expedite your order for a $60 fee. When available, it usually arrives in 7 business days. Your order is our tailors' top priority, and we ship it direct to you via a worldwide express carrier (e.g., UPS, Fedex, or DHL). To request this service, please reach out to help@mtailor.com.

What shipping do you use?

We use USPS for the last mile of delivery.

What about international orders?

We use a courier such as FedEx, UPS, or DHL.

What materials are your clothing made from?

Shirts and Tees: 100% cotton, cotton blend, or 100% lightweight polyester (for Performance Tees), with varying thread counts and weights.

Polos: Depending on the chosen style, polos are made from either 100% cotton or 100% polyester (our performance blend).

Suits: Depending on the chosen style, suits are made from either 100% wool, 90% wool and 10% cashmere, or a Polyester Blend and utilize advanced fused lining with partial canvassing.

Jeans: Blue jeans are a 90% cotton, 7% polyester, 2% rayon, 1% spandex blend. Black jeans are a 99% cotton, 1% spandex blend.

Chinos: 98% cotton, 2% elastane blend.

Performance Chinos: 100% polyester.

Can women use the app?

Anyone can order from MTailor! We also recently launched Women's Jeans, our first product line designed for women, and hope to add more options in the future.

How did you find that your technology was 20% more accurate than a tailor?

We performed a study with multiple individual tailors measuring the same subjects as our app. On average, we found that we were 20% closer to the average measurement of all tailors than each individual tailor was to the average measurement of all tailors.
