The MillióLépés health initiative, organized by the Hungarian Transplant Federation, aims to promote improved health and fitness through consistent physical activity while raising awareness about our daily movement levels.

MillioLépés

The MillióLépés application records the steps tracked by your smartphone or another smart device, and users can also manually input different types of exercise, which the app converts into step equivalents. By aggregating the total number of steps from various activities, participants can gain insight into their daily movement and its impact on their health. Within the app, steps can be accumulated individually or as part of a team of up to five individuals, and users may periodically take part in specific challenges where various organizations, such as businesses, educational institutions, and walking clubs, can compete against one another.

Services:

1. Multi-Dimensional Exercise Data Management

- **Data Collection Method**: Supports dual data entry, automatically syncing steps tracked by smartphones or other smart devices, while also allowing users to manually enter non-walking activities like running, swimming, and cycling. The app accurately converts these data into "step equivalents," covering a wide range of exercise scenarios.

- **Data Presentation and Analysis**: By aggregating the total steps of different activities, intuitive daily and weekly exercise data reports are generated, helping users clearly understand their exercise intensity, frequency, and potential health impacts, providing a reference for adjusting exercise plans.

2. Flexible Participation Modes

- **Individual and Team Dual Track**: Users can choose to accumulate steps individually to focus on their personal health goals, or form small teams of up to five people to collectively accumulate and clock in steps, boosting exercise motivation through teamwork.

- **Diversified Challenges**: Regularly launch special challenges to attract participation from various organizations, such as businesses, schools, and walking clubs. This balances individual exercise needs with the social aspect of group activities, enhancing app engagement.

3. Featured Health and Interactive Modules

- **New "Selfit" Feature**: A dedicated section allows users to record their exercise results and share their personal exercise experiences and achievements directly within the app, strengthening health communication and positive motivation among users.

- **Public Welfare Value Integration**: Leveraging the sponsor's background, the app implicitly promotes organ health education and public welfare advocacy. Users can indirectly contribute to the spread of health concepts while exercising. Some activities also provide sports equipment grants to schools and other institutions.

Core Advantages:

- **Professionalism**: Endorsed by the Organ Transplant Association, the app's scientific connection between exercise and health distinguishes it from ordinary recreational pedometers.

- **Flexibility**: Manual entry and device synchronization dual modes accommodate a variety of sports, and individual, team, and organizational participation options meet the needs of different scenarios.

- **Interactivity**: Achievement sharing and challenge competition features reduce the monotony of exercise and enhance long-term user engagement.

Suitable for:

MillioLépés

- Regular users who prioritize daily exercise and hope to improve their health through regular exercise;

- People who enjoy teamwork and need external motivation to maintain their exercise habits;

- Social organizations and individuals who are willing to participate in health initiatives and support the popularization of exercise knowledge.

FAQs:

1. **Q:** Besides step counting, can it record other types of exercise? How is the data processed?

A: Yes. In addition to automatically syncing steps from your phone or smart device, you can manually record non-walking activities such as running, swimming, and cycling. The app will accurately convert these activities into **equivalent steps** and aggregate all exercise data to generate daily and weekly exercise reports.

2. **Q:** Can I participate with friends? Is there a limit to the number of team members?

A: It supports both individual and team participation modes. Team mode allows for a maximum of **5-person teams**, where members collectively accumulate steps and check in. In addition, the app regularly launches challenges, which organizations such as companies, schools, and hiking clubs can participate in.

3. **Q:** What is the purpose of the new "Selfit" feature?

A: "Selfit" is a dedicated exercise recording and sharing section. Here, you can record your exercise results, share your personal exercise experiences and achievements, and interact with other users to gain positive motivation for continued exercise.

4. **Q: What's the difference between this app and regular pedometer apps?**

A: Initiated by the Hungarian Transplantation Association, it's more **professional**, linking exercise data with health impacts, unlike ordinary recreational pedometer tools. It also integrates public welfare value, helping to popularize organ health knowledge while exercising, and some activities even donate sports equipment to schools and other institutions.

    Wow, it's amazing how we can take action for the school. This app is simply incredible!

    Some schools have over 700 users, while others have around 100. It's possible to manually track the steps, which settles the competition. The Hungarian approach shows promise. Preventing cheating is tough, but limiting participation by counting only real steps could have been a solution.

    The initiative is great, and the app looks nice. I tried everything, but my steps won't sync with Fit. I followed the instructions in point three, reinstalled the app, even uninstalled Fit, but nothing worked. It's frustrating.

    The app has a few issues. Sometimes it doesn't load, especially over Wi-Fi. A bigger problem exists with certain schools manipulating the system. They max out the daily limit of 25,000 steps in questionable ways. Users can enter any number they want, and it gets accepted. Meanwhile, other schools work hard honestly and see cases where one school completes six blue tours in just four days. How can anyone compete fairly? Providing loopholes for cheating leads nowhere. It's disappointing.

    After some struggle, I managed to sync my old phone. The new one? Not a chance. I even tried registering again, logging out, logging back in, and reinstalling the app. I set up Fit again too. I'm mainly using Google Health now, but there’s data in Fit as well. All app permissions are granted, yet nothing works. Should I sacrifice a lamb under the full moon? A sarcastic answer seems fitting. As a software developer, I see it’s not right when multiple people face the same issue. This process should be intuitive. That third page of help didn’t offer any solutions either.

    The app syncs a much smaller step count compared to what's in Google Fit and Samsung Health. Those two are the same, but this one doesn't match up. When I manually enter the correct number, it adds that to the incorrect step count instead of replacing it. It feels completely useless like this.
