I am unable to control the drone using this app; instead, I can use a physical controller that came with my E58 drone. So, when I use the phone, the controls for video don't save properly. But taking pictures is fine. I believe it's a problem with the app. You need to give permission for the app to do certain things on your phone, like recording. To fix this, go to settings, select the app, and then grant permissions such as access to storage, camera, and so on.

Oh no! The app isn't connecting to my phone. My phone is Lg V60 Dual Screen. The ssid appeared for a short time and then disappeared. It never popped up again. Why did that happen?

Sure, it's a great idea to practice flying your new Mavic Mini drone. It's about the size of a medium hand. I watched a video made by a beta tester and followed their instructions after initially struggling to figure it out on my own. This video helped me connect to the app successfully. Here is what I did: After downloading the app, I made sure to disconnect my mobile data. Then, I turned on the drone and the remote control. Next, I pressed and held the wifi icon on my phone and selected the drone's wifi connection to establish a connection. I then pushed the joysticks up and down on the remote control to connect to the camera. Finally, I opened the app and pressed start as shown in the video. So far, I haven't started recording yet but I'm excited to give it a try soon.

I used the app about four or five times and then it stopped connecting. I tried using it on my Android phone, but faced the same issue. However, they offered me a different app for $22 a month. I didn't have high expectations since it came from where they sell them, I guess.
