JourneyVPN and BitTorrent

To provide the best free VPN service to a wide user base, JourneyVPN does not support BitTorrent applications. Frequent copyright infringements by users pose risks and strain our resources. Consequently, traffic from BitTorrent apps will use your standard internet connection instead of the VPN tunnel. Users will be notified if Torrent apps are detected and how they are impacted by this policy.

I'm behind a very restrictive firewall, will I be able to use your VPN?

Our client uses multiple techniques to establish connections to our VPN. It is successful in establishing connections on networks that actively block similar services. Our suite of connection modes is ever expanding and is one reason to keep your JourneyVPN app updated to the latest version. That said, there may be circumstances on very restrictive networks where our client cannot connect. Is there a JourneyVPN client for iOS? if not, when will one be available?

Currently JourneyVPN only runs on Android devices. We started with Android since it is the most popular Operating System in use today. iOS support is in progress and we expect a release in the coming months. Stay tuned!
