Why should an educational institution implement the “Single School” System?

The “Single School” System provides: teachers, parents and children with tools for accessing e-services; heads of educational institutions with means of making management decisions; education management bodies with means of organizing electronic interaction. The system supports the daily work of an educational institution, namely: online monitoring of student performance and attendance; conducting educational activities, including in remote mode, involving parents in the educational process; creating conditions for the transition to a paperless form of school documentation. In addition, the internal education quality assurance system may include information systems for effective management of an educational institution (Article 41 of the Law of Ukraine “On Education”), so the implementation of such a system will have a positive impact on the evaluation of the school’s activities and the creation of its positive image.

Is “Single School” available to all educational institutions or only to private schools? Who makes the decision to implement the System in the institution?

Taking into account the stamp "Recommended by the Ministry of Education and Science", the system is available to all educational institutions regardless of their form of ownership, provided that a positive decision is made by the Pedagogical Council (Article 40 of the Law "On Complete Secondary Education"). The system is successfully operating in municipal and private schools from different cities of Ukraine. Activities in the system can be carried out on the terms of an all-Ukrainian or regional experiment, since such activities are innovative and affect the improvement of the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of the educational process. In the case of a regional experiment, or when financing such activities from the local budget, decisions are made by local authorities or local self-government bodies in agreement with education management bodies and educational institutions. Joining educational institutions of one region to a single system will contribute to the development of a modern educational environment and a single information space of a certain territory, will provide an opportunity to establish interactive communication between all subjects of the educational process, ensure transparency of the activities of educational institutions, and also raise issues of additional technical support of your educational institutions (equipment, network equipment and high-speed Internet) at the regional level.

Can an individual teacher use the System if the educational institution does not use it? Is it possible to start a pilot implementation in one class?

During the quarantine period, one teacher can join the System to use the “Distance Learning” module (who must become an administrator to enter the databases of students and parents of the classes he leads). It is also possible to start a pilot implementation of the system - by connecting individual classes of the school. However, we recommend connecting the educational institution as a whole to use all the opportunities provided by the system.

Who can send an Application for Connection to the System

In case of connection to the system "Single School": 1) educational institutions of a certain territory at the initiative of local authorities or as part of an experiment - the issue of joining the school to the system is resolved with the education management body of a certain territory, after which a representative of the educational institution fills out an Application for Connection 2) an individual educational institution at his initiative - the Application for Connection must be filled out by a representative of the educational institution (director, his deputy or an authorized person). The school as a whole or selected classes (streams) are connected 3) individual classes at the initiative of a teacher - the Application for Connection is filled out by the teacher.
