The experience began positively, showing promise. Over time, however, updates have turned things sour. Once installed, there's no way to revert back. The app persistently requests permissions, despite my refusals. Reaching customer service feels increasingly challenging. When contact is made, the assistance lacks depth and understanding. Initially, I would have gladly recommended this app and its products. Now, my stance has completely changed. I definitely cannot recommend it.

You have a SC008HA camera. It's frustrating when it gets stuck on "Establishing encrypted channel." You notice it detects sound and movement, sending alerts and pictures, but no live video. A reset seems to help temporarily. You are sure the internet isn’t the problem. After some time, you receive excellent customer service. They resolve your issue quickly. You feel grateful for the update that fixes everything. You happily change your review from 2 stars to 5 stars, appreciating the support. Thank you!

No issues with the app at all. The 45cm smart pedestal fan from Bunnings for $159.00 works great with it. It connects to the app in about 20 seconds. Linking to my Google Home app took only a few seconds too. I'm using a Netgear Orbi dual WiFi mesh network. One thing I don't like about the app is that the voice control only lets you turn the fan on or off through Google. If you open the app, though, you can do everything just like with the buttons on the fan itself.

Overall, everything runs smoothly. Just a couple of small connection issues, but a quick restart does the trick. I have lights, plugs, a doorbell, and a camera set up. It would be awesome to have the icons organized by usage, making the most frequently used ones appear at the top instead of the latest added. Just set up the BunningsSec.cam on my front door. The process was straightforward, even for someone like me who isn’t tech-savvy. The image quality really impresses, even at low resolution. The infrared clarity is incredible. The app feels user-friendly, too. The communication between the device and the app works flawlessly. Since the last update, I stopped receiving push notifications for motion detections from my camera. The recordings still save on the SD card, and I can find them in the playback section for each camera. I’ve reinstalled the app twice, cleared the cache, and checked all notification settings. Nothing seems to work. This app was great before, but without push notifications, it really falls short now.
