FAQ

Questions about the event or to the organiser?

Only the event organisers are responsible for questions about the event. As we do not organise the event, we are unfortunately unable to help.  On each event detail page, we offer you the opportunity to contact the event organisers of the event directly using a contact form.

This is how it works:

Find an event: Use the search function on the Eventfrog homepage. If you have already purchased a ticket, you can also find the event directly under «My tickets» > «Upcoming events».

Scroll down to the item «Event organiser»

Click «Contact event organiser» and send your message.

Why do I need to provide my email address (and address)?

If you buy a ticket through Eventfrog, your email address will be used as the login name for your account.

Eventfrog uses this email address to send you important notifications about your event or account, such as:

Order confirmation

Notifications from the event organiser (e.g., updates regarding the event)

Password recovery: If you forget your password for your Eventfrog account, you can use this email address to reset it.

Additionally, you can manage your tickets digitally through your account. This gives you access to your tickets anytime and anywhere – whether via the Eventfrog app or on your browser.

Why is my address also requested?

If the event organiser has not enabled Express Checkout, your address will be requested in addition to your email address. This serves several purposes:

Invoice issuance:

In many cases, event organisers require your address to issue a legally compliant invoice.

Contact in case of issues:

Should any issues arise (e.g., refunds or booking queries), your address provides an additional way to contact you.

Legal requirements:

In some countries or regions, collecting the address may be necessary for tax or legal reasons.

Personalised tickets:

Some event organisers use the address for personalised tickets or as part of the entry check to ensure tickets are only used by authorised individuals.

The address is only requested when it is necessary for the above reasons. Your data will, of course, be securely handled in accordance with our privacy policy.

Why can't I log in? 

If you already have an account, you should be able to log in using your email address and the correct password. If this doesn’t work, request a link to reset your password by clicking on «Forgot password?».

If you don’t have an Eventfrog account yet, switch from «Log in» to «Register» and create an account.

If this still doesn’t work, you can contact our support  team.

How do I create an account for Eventfrog?

To create an account, go to Eventfrog.ch. Then click on «Register» in the header top right of the homepage.

Click on «Register here». Now you can enter your email address to create the account. Then choose a secure password and click on «Get started now».

Now check if the address you entered is correct. If so, press the green button.

And you have already created an account. Now you can continue as a ticket buyer or organiser.
