Welcome to a better delivery service in the UAE. I started el Grocer because I was a frustrated by consumer delivery services. Between the poor delivery times, rude customer service and the poor quality of the products that did get delivered... I knew there has to be another way.

I made el Grocer to be different, to be better, a grocery delivery service that works for the customer, not against him. Our Customer Service personnel are trained to be YOUR advocates when dealing with the store. 1.How do I get started?

Once you have downloaded the app, simply select your current location to see the list of partner stores available around you. Pick a store and start your grocery shopping experience. It is that simple!

2.Where can I use elGrocer by smiles?

Our service is available across UAE (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Sharjah, RAK, Fujairah, Umm Al Quwain & Ajman)

3.Where can I find all my account's info?

Both your elGrocer and Smiles balance info can be accessed from the Profile menu within the elGrocer app or the grocery section in Smiles App.

4.Is there a maximum number of attempts to enter the correct OTP?

After a maximum of three attempts your transaction will be declined, and the authentication service will be blocked. There is a period of 24 hours until you can try again the authentication. Only 3 OTP attempts are recognized in one day.

5.Can both primary and linked accounts login to elGrocer app?

Primary and Linked accounts are a reference to Smiles accounts not elGrocer. elGrocer supports all Smiles accounts. Each account will access the same Smiles balance they have on their Smiles app.

6.Is there a difference between online and in-store grocery prices?

No difference! The prices are the same. The big advantage is that you do not have to waste time going to the store. Simply order all you need with just a few taps.

7.I am new to this type of service. Can I browse your app first?

Yes, you can freely browse our app first before ordering. Once you open the app the first time, simply select "Explore and Register later" option. The app will ask you to select your location, then show you the available stores in the area. After choosing a store and adding the products you want to your basket, you will be prompted to enter your contact details to proceed to checkout.

8.Is there any minimum order or delivery charge for deliveries?

Our prices are the same as you see in stores. Some stores require more delivery men that work in shifts. This means minimum orders and delivery fees vary according to the retailer you order from. Smaller stores take orders with basket values as low as AED30. While in the case of some retailers that deliver in the same building or within 500m there are no delivery fees. All delivery terms are shown as details for our listed stores as well as on your order summary screen, where you are prompted to confirm your order.

9.I have several products that I usually order. Can I have an option to select them without searching or browsing for them?

Absolutely. Products usually purchased are listed in Shopping history for easy selection.

10.I placed an order, and then edited it to add more items. I have been charged twice.

The first charge will be cancelled automatically; we will only charge for the final amount of the edited order.

11.How can I redeem a promo code?

On the checking out page, you will find a field to apply the promo code, copy and paste the code and click on apply.

12.How long do I have to wait for my groceries to arrive?

Your groceries will be brought to you as fast as possible; our partner stores will do their absolute best to deliver on time. However, this may be affected by delivery personnel availability and workload, roads or weather conditions, and the distance between the store and the delivery address. If there is any delay, we will make sure to inform you as early as possible.

13.Can I schedule my delivery to be sent on a later day or time?

Yes, you can choose the delivery day and time that is suitable for you from checkout page.
