The DOT Tickets application is created and managed by Din Offentlige Transport (DOT). This organization is a collaboration among the transportation companies DSB, Movia, and Metroselskabet aimed at improving and unifying the public transport system across Zealand, Lolland, Falster, and Møn.
The DOT Tickets app simplifies the process of purchasing tickets and monthly passes for travel within the regions of Zealand, Lolland, Falster, and Møn.
To buy tickets, you can specify your departure and arrival locations, which can be either a stop, an address, or a specific place. Additionally, you have the option to select the travel zones directly on a map. The fast purchase feature for 2-8 zones is useful if you already know how many zones you'll need. This feature requires your consent for localization (GPS) to help identify your starting zone. Granting permission for location services is optional, but it can assist in showing your current position relative to the ticket's area of validity.
Monthly passes can similarly be acquired by inputting departure and destination locations. You also have the option to manually choose the zones on the map if traveling through 2 to 8 zones.
Through the DOT Tickets app, you can acquire various tickets, including:
• Zone tickets for 2-8 zones
• Tickets for 9+ zones between a specified departure and arrival zone
• Commuter cards that can be enhanced with Metro and DSB 1’ Regional Train options
• Commute20 offering add-ons for Metro and DSB 1’ Regional Train
• Bicycle Metro tickets
• Additional ticket for Commuter Card (1 zone)
• Supplementary ticket for DSB 1’ Regional Train
• City Pass Small covering zones 1-4 (available for 24, 48, 72, 96, or 120 hours)
• City Pass Large for zones 1-99 (for 24, 48, 72, 96, or 120 hours)
• City Pass X-Large for zones 1-299 (valid for 24 hours)
• City Pass West for zones 101-199 (24 hours)
• City Pass South for zones 201-299 (24 hours)
• Event Ticket Small for zones 1-4 (12 hours) and Event Ticket Large for zones 1-99 (12 hours), available during certain events
• 12-hour ticket East, West, and South for unrestricted travel on weekends for a limited time (December 2023 – February 2024)
While these monthly passes may also be bought through different sales channels, they are displayed within the DOT Tickets app:
• Youth Card
• Employee Travel Pass
• Company Travel Pass
Payment options within the DOT Tickets app
You can use MobilePay or payment cards for transactions in the DOT Tickets app. The app allows you to save your card information, which can be accessed easily through Touch ID, Face ID, or a chosen PIN, eliminating the need to re-enter your details each time.
Your payment card data is securely stored via Billwerk+.
The following types of payment cards are accepted:

Departure boards
You have the ability to create customized departure boards for your preferred modes of transportation at all stations and stops across Zealand, Lolland, Falster, and Møn, allowing filtering by specific lines of interest.
Your departure board will provide updates on any delays or cancellations.
By setting up a departure board, you can receive notifications about scheduled changes. You can also integrate this board as a widget onto your smartphone’s home screen for easy access.

Why am I blocked from buying tickets in the DOT Billetter app or via SMS?

Is the heating turned up in the bus when it is cold?
Yes, when it is cold outside, the heating in the bus is turned on. We try to keep an average temperature of 20 degrees in the buses, but it can be a little colder or a little warmer. When an electric bus is low on battery, the minimum temperature can be set to 16 degrees until the bus is recharged.
Why didn't the bus stop?
If you don't look like you're going to take the bus, you risk the driver not noticing you and driving on. For example, if you stay in the shelter or are busy with your mobile phone when the bus approaches, the bus may not stop. If it's dark, reflectors are a good idea so the driver can see you better.
