COMMENTS

I always felt like therapy just didn’t work for me and that I might never get better because nobody could understand how to help me. I didn’t even know how to help me. I’ve tried to use many other apps but they all just felt cheap and commercial. I felt like I was being sold a nice little pamphlet that a school might hand out on five quick exercises to reduce anxiety. But then a couple of weeks ago I stumbled across this app in an attempt to gain some control over my mind. Now for the first time ever I am writing a review because I feel so thankful that the creators of this app actually knew how to help me. As someone with ADHD and anxiety I very much struggle with motivation and consistency in my journey to sanity. But the layout of the app, the gratification I get from the completion of tasks. The way the journals are actually guided all the way through make so much sense to my muddled brain. The way cbt is explained and utilized in the app has been monumental to my progress. And I love the new chatbot feature, I have really bad anxiety about texting real people but since it’s completely judgment free I can actually ask for help and discuss how to work through my problems. I just felt like I needed to say something. I really hope the app will stay as amazing as it is as it expands.

Self-therapy is important too and this app helps to make that statement a reality. It’s a shame more people don’t know about CBT and how many of us are unaware how it can help us out of suffering and raise us from the deep pits of ANTs. So if your one of the people that have gained insight to what it is and how to use it to heal your mind, body, and soul, GET THIS APP. I downloaded this app when I was on a verge of a breakdown. My therapist was not available but her notes were and in them I saw “CBT,” did a little more research and stumbled upon this app and my life has been steadily improving. I’m able to notice what triggers terrible moods and what makes me feel good or bad. I can easily write my negative thoughts down and confront them in this app with easy to understand definitions of the types of negative connotations that have been paralyzing me. After using it awhile I have been able to utilize the practices of the app in real time, and identify exactly what negative cognitive behaviors are trying to take over. My brain, my body, and my soul has improved dramatically because of this app. It’s not a fix it all, let everything be gone type of thing, but it is a VERY VERY POWERFUL TOOL. It’s worth the money as well! I feel fortunate that I get to track my life and see what is causing me misery for such a low cost. This app is amazing and I only gave it four stars, because the app can only get better even though it’s already really great.

I really love what I’ve been able to accomplish through this app. I never liked therapy because of some personal experiences in talk, in-person therapy. I also had trouble being honest because I just felt like another client to the doctor. I really like this app because it’s all on me. I decide when I want to open up and I choose when I want to try to tackle some things that I’ve never felt comfortable opening up to a person in front of me. Personally I like the aspect of “talking to a robot” I really appreciate the feeling of no judgement and I do feel like this app is quite similar to most therapy sessions I’ve had before in terms of questioning. I have been able to open up and explore things that I’m not okay with talking about with someone else, just with myself. Nobody is handing me tissues or prying to get me to open up or getting upset with me for showing emotion. It’s just me and my phone and I also find it easier to type some things out instead is saying them. Long story short I really recommend this app if you have found yourself having trouble getting anywhere with talk therapy, especially when it feels self-induced. It will be okay, you just gotta get comfortable with talking with yourself.

This app is an excellent resource that starts at beginner level of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. It's quick and concise to start learning how to use CBT and starts engaging the user immediately. Journals entries, short programs, mood tracker *with prompts to further explain the mood. And more of course - just my favorite parts of the app. I have been in therapy for 2 years doing CBT and generally having a third party to talk to about life and better myself. I have tried journaling on a blank book and even prompts but I am lazy or can't sit still so I don't usually make time to go do that. So I LOVE this app for giving me a resource that I can check in quickly, do different parts of the app throughout the day, get education, meditation, and more. It gives me an opportunity to do this daily so that when my therapy session rolls around I can share more about how much I've been thinking about my thoughts in a healthier way. I've been using this app for a week straight after going through some really hard times lately. It's been helpful for at least 7 days so far, I feel more hopeful. I'm grateful to the creators of this app. Thank you.

If you have trouble regulating your emotions, labeling your emotions, getting angry/irritated often, and just need someone to talk to.... get this app! I used this app before and I would just do the "analyze thought" but sometimes that was too hard, especially when you're really upset, it's hard to write in the blanks. NOW, I talk to the CBT chat bot. The chat bot is so professional and empathetic. They validate you, see you, and also CHALLENGE your thoughts. Just talking to the chat bot, I was able to identify triggers and childhood trauma and how it related to what I was irritated about! I love the CBT chatbot and think the subscription is well worth the money just to talk to it when I need to multiple times a day. If I'm having problems with my partner, I'll talk to the chat bot and they usually give me some great prompts and ideas and suggestions for how to approach certain conversations. Without the chat bot, I would not be able to expand my library of empathetic phrases. It's cool how much I'm learning and nice that they encourage me to talk and solve my problems with my partner too not just the chat bot.

This app is fantastic for organizing your thoughts. The setup for inputting feelings works wonderfully. If you select "happy" or "terrific," it only lets you choose positive emotions. On the flip side, picking anything from "neutral" to "terrible" restricts you to negative emotions. A blend of both would be amazing. Despite that, this app shines in helping you reflect on your past days and tackle negative thoughts. The gratitude feature adds so much value too. Overall, I love using it!

First of all, it’s not free at all. You have to enter your credit card details and only get seven days of a so-called free trial. It feels like a scam! Other reviews rave about their free trials, mentioning upgrades. But why can’t it just be a one-time purchase for the app? No way! They want you to pay monthly to hold onto it. Mental health apps are cashing in, no doubt. Yet, many people would appreciate a truly free app that offers help during tough times. Guess I’ll keep searching for something better.

Last month, I was ready to give this app five stars. Today, I opened it and discovered my favorite features hidden behind a £40 yearly charge. Disappointment set in. After the developer's response, everything changed. They guided me patiently, helping me find my way back. Now, I can use my beloved app just like before. It's truly a lifesaver, and I've told so many friends about it! When the time is right, upgrading to the pro version will definitely be on my list.

This app is a lifesaver. I had cognitive behavioural therapy before, but it costs a lot on the private side, and the NHS offers limited access. Now, this app feels like my personal therapist. Some days, it’s tough to stay motivated to fill it out, but every time I do, I feel amazing afterwards. It’s totally worth it. Learning the CBT techniques and how to use the app effectively makes a big difference. This app is truly a gem, especially being free.

This app really shines when it comes to focusing on cognitive behavioral therapy. It's especially useful for anyone who has experienced therapy or is in therapy at the moment. If you haven't, don't worry. Regular gratitude practice and journaling can bring a lot of benefits on their own. One downside? Some great extra features come with a monthly subscription. However, the core skills offered in this app are accessible without paying.

This app serves beginners well. After years of doing CBT alone, the thought analysis offers clarity. It feels unnecessary for me now, but I kept it for my therapist's review and to share insights. The subscription system, though frustrating, caught me off guard. Google Play makes these subscriptions tricky. Even useful apps can feel like a scam when dealing with billing issues.

You’re feeling really frustrated with the CBT app. You love journaling each week, but when you try to export your entries, you only get those weird dotted lines. It doesn’t matter if you choose document or cloud format. You bought the pro version for this exact reason, and now you're stuck without access to your notes before your counseling session. It’s disappointing, especially since you’ve only used the app for a week. You’re considering unsubscribing and asking for a partial refund for the days you didn’t use. That’s a tough situation to be in.
