Questions before booking
1. Is the vacation rental still available?
The occupancy calendar is updated daily and shows whether a property is still available. Green dates are usually still available, while red dates are already booked.
You can also check in real time whether your property is still available for your desired travel date. Enter the number of people traveling with you below the calendar. If the price appears, the property is bookable! However, if an error message appears, e.g., "The selected period is unfortunately not bookable," a booking is unfortunately not possible. In this case, it's worth checking whether only certain arrival and departure dates are bookable. These are highlighted in dark green and underlined in the calendar.
2. Can I also make a non-binding inquiry as to whether the vacation rental is still available?
You can see at any time whether the property is still bookable by clicking on your travel date, selecting the duration of the trip, and entering the people traveling with you. If the price now appears, the accommodation is available.
In some cases, especially during peak season, the booking must be reconfirmed by the landlord. You will see whether this is necessary in your advance confirmation, which you will receive from us via email. Such a booking request is binding in all cases!
3. Can I only book from Saturday to Saturday? What about other arrival and departure days?
During peak season from mid-June to the end of August and during high-demand holiday periods, arrival and departure days are only possible as indicated in dark green in the online occupancy calendar. During off-season, however, flexible midweek stays or short stays can also be requested from the landlord. Please contact our service team for more information.
Note: Thanks to our search function, you can view the available properties for the period of your choice by selecting your exact dates. The search results displayed can then be booked for your desired date.
4. Are children, toddlers, and babies counted as full participants?
Babies, toddlers, and children are also counted as accompanying persons. Exceptions are explicitly noted in the property description.
The maximum number of people is specified for each accommodation and may not be exceeded for insurance reasons. Exceptions require prior approval from the landlord (see question 5).
5. Am I allowed to travel with more people?
In many cases, a binding request for overcrowding can be made to the landlord. The booking will then only be confirmed if the landlord accepts the number of people. Please contact our customer service team for more information.
