QDo I need to register to make booking in BusOnlineTicket.com?

BusOnlineTicket.com offers a unique flexibility in user registration. It is not required to register to buy tickets online. However, frequent passengers are encouraged to register with BusOnlineTicket to benefit from BusOnlineTicket.com like BOT Mile reward point etc.

I do not have a printer. Is it a must to take the printout of the ticket?

Yes. It is compulsory to print out the e-confirmation of the booking. However, for some bus company, printed e-confirmation is optional as long as you could provide the booking reference number (BOT No./BOT Reference No.). Kindly refer to the notes during your booking and the notes inside the e-confirmation email. You also need to present your ID or the booking reference number to get the boarding pass.

For KTMB train ticket, please make sure you have the KTMB boarding pass that was sent to your email to board the train.

Please note that payment receipt CANNOT be used for boarding. Please get the BusOnlineTicket.com Booking Confirmation Email via the email you used to make the booking.

I have lost my e-confirmation, can I collect my ticket without e-confirmation?

You may email to us and our customer service team will email you the e-confirmation within 24 hours. Alternatively, you can get your Booking Confirmation document via your Member Account or via Check My Booking page. All you need is the BOT Reference No. and the Email/Phone Number used to make the booking.

For some bus company ONLY, if you are the person who bought the ticket, kindly show the counter staff your registered passport number / telephone / Identity Card. The counter will issue the ticket to you.

For KTMB train, please make sure you have the KTMB boarding pass that we send to your email for boarding.

How long will the bus operator open the schedule in advance?

Normally express bus company will open their schedule 1 month in advance.

Is there any child tickets?

Some bus operators offer child ticket price and you can check the availability from our booking page. Please select the number of child ticket you want to book in the payment page.

Do I need to buy ticket for my child?

Bus – Child below 2 years old does not require a ticket. However, you are advised to buy ticket for your child for safety reason.

Train – Child below 4 years old does not require a ticket. However, you are advised to buy ticket for your child for safety reason.

Ferry – Some operators require tickets for all passengers, while others do not.

How do I check and utilize my redemption point (BOT Miles)?

You have to login to your account with your email address. You can redeem your BOT Miles during booking process in the payment page. Click here to find out more.

What is BOT Wallet and where can I check my cashback?

Cashback bonuses earned via promotions will be credited to your BOT Wallet. You can check BOT Wallet balance and cashback history via your BusOnlineTicket member account.

Cashback credited to BOT Wallet is subjected to the general BOT Wallet Terms & Conditions:

Cashback earned through promotion, unless stated otherwise, will only be active and credited to User’s BOT Wallet within 24 hours after the departure date.

Cashback offer credited to the respective User’s BOT Wallet through promotions is non-transferable or exchangeable to other form.

Except as otherwise provided, benefits of Cashback shall be applicable only on the base fare (excluding all applicable taxes and charges) for bus, train and ferry ticket booking(s) made on the Website or Apps and may be availed to the extent of up to 10% of the said base fare of the ticket booking(s) made on the Website or Apps.

Cashback redemption cannot be used in conjunction with any other reward, discount, e-voucher or cashback from other party.

The Cashback offer has limited validity up to 6 months from the day it was credited to member’s BOT Wallet, post which such Cashback may lapse and its benefits shall not be available for the User.

The Cashback once availed are exhausted and in case of cancellation of the relevant booking whether fully or partially shall not be credited back to User’s BOT Wallet.

User agrees that the usage of Cashback may be subject to specific terms and conditions of promotional offer(s), as may be notified by BusOnlineTicket from time to time.

These terms pertaining to usage and applicability of the Cashback are subject to change at the discretion of BusOnlineTicket without any communication or notification to Users.
