Why am I being asked to provide a screen recording?

How to Provide A Screen Recording: iOS

To provide a screen recording for an iOS device, follow these steps:

First, make sure the Screen Recording feature is added to your Control Center. If it is not on your Control Center:

Swipe down from the top-right corner of your device's screen.

If you don't see the screen recording button (solid circle inside a ring), tap the "+" button in the top left corner.

Select "Add a Control" and then tap the "Screen Recording" option.

Swipe down from the top right of your device's screen.

Tap the Screen Recording button (solid circle inside a ring) in Control Center.

Once you have completed the screen recording desired, access the Control Center and hit the button again to stop recording.

How to Provide A Screen Recording: Android

To provide a screen recording for an Android device, follow these steps:

Swipe down from the top of your screen twice to open the Quick Settings panel.

Look for the "Screen record" icon-if you do not see it, try these steps:

Tap the "Edit" icon (this should be a pencil or + sign)

Search for "Screen record"

Add "Screen record" to your Quick Settings

Drag the "Screen record" tile to your active Quick Settings.

Tap the "Screen record" icon. Select whether to record audio and if you want to show screen touches.

Select "Start" to begin recording.

To stop recording, swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the "Screen recorder" notification. You should have the option to stop recording there.

Why am I missing a reward?

Here’s what to do if you think a reward is missing:

Double-check the “Pending Rewards” section in the app

Review the offer terms to ensure all conditions were met.

If the expected timeframe for a pending reward has passed and the reward is still missing, contact Member Services. 

Most missing rewards fall into one of the following categories:

1. The reward is still processing 

Some rewards take time to process before they become available. Check the “Pending Rewards” section in the Benjamin app to see the processing time for rewards in progress.

Gaming rewards may take up to 48 hours to track.

Shopping cash back can take 7–30 days, depending on the store’s verification process.

Surveys and receipt scanning rewards normally process within 24–48 hours.

2. The transaction did not meet the offer conditions 

Here are some common reasons why an offer might not qualify:

Gaming offers: You must start and complete the challenge through Benjamin. Rewards are only eligible to members who download games through Benjamin (example below).

Shopping cash back: You must activate the offer through Benjamin before making the purchase. Using certain payment methods (e.g., gift cards, PayPal, or Apple Pay) may also void the cash back.

Receipt scanning: Your purchase must match an eligible offer, and the receipt details (store, date, and items) must be clear and readable.

3. The reward was not properly tracked

Tracking issues can occur due to:

Using a VPN or private browsing, which may block tracking data.

Not allowing tracking permissions on your device when completing a gaming or shopping offer.

Closing the app or switching tabs before completing an action, which may interrupt the tracking process.

To prevent tracking issues, make sure to:

Always start offers through the Benjamin app.

Disable VPNs or private browsing.

Allow tracking permissions when prompted.

Keep the app open and active when completing offers.

4. The reward has been canceled

In some cases, a reward might be rejected by the merchant or provider due to:

A returned or canceled purchase (for shopping cash back).

Survey disqualification (if the provider flags the response as incomplete or inconsistent).

Multiple accounts or suspicious activity, which violates Benjamin’s reward policies.

Why haven’t I received my payment?

Important Update: Withdrawals will be available on December 3rd, 2025. We’re finishing some exciting updates. Don't worry, your balance is safe and you’ll continue earning rewards as usual. We appreciate your patience as we work towards building a better experience for you and our platform.

If you haven’t received a payment that you’re expecting, here’s what to do.

Check the expected processing time

The time it takes for your withdrawal to reach your bank account depends on the method you selected.

PayPal & Venmo - Funds arrive almost immediately or within minutes of your request

Same-day payout (RTP Network) - Funds arrive immediately, as long as your bank supports the RTP Network

ACH transfer - Funds take 5-7 business days to arrive, excluding weekends and holidays

Gift cards - Funds take 5-7 business days to arrive, excluding weekends and holidays

If you’re still within these timeframes, your withdrawal is likely still processing.

Ensure bank details are accurate

Go to “Linked Accounts” in the Benjamin app and confirm that your bank account details are accurate.

If there’s an error in your account number or routing number, the payment will be rejected.

Check for bank processing delays

Some banks take longer to reflect incoming deposits, especially for first-time withdrawals.

ACH transfers do not process on weekends or holidays, which can extend wait times.

If your bank doesn’t support RTP, your withdrawal will automatically default to ACH, which takes longer than an instant payout.

Verify if additional security checks are required

For large withdrawals or first-time payouts, Benjamin may require extra verification to ensure security and prevent fraud.

Please check your email or notifications to see if additional steps are needed.

If verification is required, please complete the process to avoid delays.

Confirm that your withdrawal was successfully processed

Go to your Benjamin Wallet and check the status of your withdrawal.

“Processing” means the payment is still being processed.

If you see “Completed” but the withdrawal hasn’t appeared in your bank account, please contact your bank’s support team to check for pending deposits.

Contact Member Services if the delay exceeds the expected timeframe

If your withdrawal has still not arrived within the timeframe listed above, reach out to our Member Services with team the following details:

Date of withdrawal request

Selected withdrawal method

Transaction ID (if available)

Bank name and confirmation that the account is active

Our team will investigate the delay and assist in resolving the issue as quickly as possible.

How do I keep my account active so my rewards are not abandoned?

As stated in our Terms of Service: You have to complete "Qualifying Activity" in order for your account to remain active and to ensure your earned rewards are not forfeited.

Failure to complete "Qualifying Activity" within 90 consecutive days will result in your account being deactivated and any earned rewards will be forfeited and cancelled.

Please note that any forfeited and cancelled rewards cannot be restored.

We will send you a notification after 60 consecutive days of no "Qualifying Activity" that your account will be deactivated in 30 days unless you take action.

You will be able to reactivate your deactivated Benjamin account by logging in and earning new rewards.

What is considered "Qualifying Activity"?:

Earn rewards (for example: playing games to achieve a milestone, completing your daily streak, etc)

Redeem rewards from your Benjamin wallet

Why was my account restricted or suspended?

To protect users and ensure compliance with fraud prevention policies, Benjamin reserves the right to restrict or suspend accounts. If your account is restricted, you may experience limited access to features such as making withdrawals, earning rewards, or linking payment methods.

These are the most common reasons for account restrictions and suspensions:

Suspicious or unusual activity

Benjamin monitors accounts for potential fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access. If suspicious activity is detected, your account may be temporarily restricted.

Violation of Benjamin’s Terms & Conditions

If you violate Benjamin’s Terms of Service, your account may be suspended or permanently disabled.

Common violations:

Creating multiple accounts to exploit rewards.

Providing false information during identity verification (KYC).

Using unauthorized software (e.g., VPNs, emulators) to manipulate transactions.

Engaging in fraudulent activity, such as attempting to withdraw unearned rewards.
