Using the Beam app is so simple once you figure out the administrative part. Just a heads up, make sure to check your mobile device before you finish your trip. Remember there are a few more steps to take in the app to prevent it from charging your bank account unexpectedly.

I love using this transportation service to go to work and back. At first, I had some trouble with two of them not working, but their customer service helped me out by giving me a refund. Now, I just use the 25RM weekly pass, and it's perfect for me. I am really satisfied with my experience overall and would definitely suggest it to others.

So, I tried this new scooter app today. After scanning the QR code and starting my trip, it suddenly said that the scooter needed maintenance and couldn't be used. Unfortunately, there was no option to switch to a different scooter, so I had to end my trip and got charged $8.6 even though I didn't get to use the scooter at all. Later on, I scanned another scooter from the same app. Compared to the Neuron and Lime scooters I usually use in Melbourne, the service was quite limited. I found it frustrating because I couldn't ride the Beam scooter to all the places I wanted to go due to their restricted servicing areas. It was such an inconvenience.

This service is great! It really helps manage time when you're running late. It would be even more useful if they provided a mobile holder too.

It was a nice experience, but the price was really high. I was lucky to have some free credit to use. The parking zones were a bit confusing because the map only showed a dot. This made me worried about getting charged for parking outside the correct area. I felt unsafe looking at my phone while riding without a holder. I had to keep stopping to check the map, which was inconvenient. Maybe it's easier if you're familiar with the area. But as a tourist, you have to be extra cautious.

I'm glad to hear you had a better experience this time! Initially, it was a bit challenging to figure out how to get the ride going. You have to push off first and then press the go button. Nevertheless, I'm very excited and grateful for the smooth ride, thank you Beam! 😃

This technology should be able to protect itself from possible scavengers. It's really impressive, but riding it for 10 minutes every day could get costly for me. At RM5.5 per day, that adds up to RM110 for a month if I ride it for 20 days straight. And I haven't even considered the stops at red lights yet. Still, I'll only use it when I'm in a hurry to get somewhere. I hope this business can keep going and learn from the errors of OBike. Signed - A former OBike user who saved some bikes.
