What can I do if I forgot my password?

If you forgot your password, you could try to retrieve password by following below steps：

For PC：

Step 1. Go to the Sign In page and click on "Forgot Password".

Step 2. Enter your registered email address or member ID and slide the button to verify.

Step 3. Complete the verification process by selecting email verification, phone verification, or answering questions. If you can't receive the code on your phone or don't use it anymore, click "Try a different verification method" button to select another verification method.

Step 4. Once you complete the verification process, you will be directed to the password reset page. Follow the instructions to reset.

For APP：

Step 1. Go to the Sign In page and click on "Forgot Password". 

Step 2. Enter your registered email address or member ID and slide the button to verify.

Step 3. Complete the verification process by selecting email verification, phone verification, or answering questions. If you can't receive the code on your phone or don't use it anymore, click "Try a different verification method" button to select another verification method.

How do I change my verification phone?

There are 2 occassions you may need to change the verification phone.

Scenario 1:

If your original phone number is valid, please do as follows to change the verification phone:

On PC:

1. Click on [My Alibaba]-[Account]-[Manage Verification Phones] ;

2. Complete the Identity Verification process;

3. Enter the new verification phone number.

On APP:

1. Sign into 'My Alibaba'.

2. Click on 'Edit' on the right side of 'Secure mobile number' and complete the Identity Verification process.

3. Enter the new verification phone number.

Scenario 2:

If your original phone number is invalid or no longer in use, please provide the necessary required document:

1. Your new phone number (country code + phone number);

2. For individual account: one of the following lists: passport/driving license/identity card/Original photo or electronic version photo of the enterprise business license (issued by the official government website) (If you provide a business license, please also provide the original photo of the company's legal representative identity document);

3. For company account: Original photo of company business license;
