Aladdin Connect - Garage door control & monitoring

The app has improved since the last update. It used to open with so many issues. Now it works much better. Still giving it a two-star rating. A door got deleted from my phone by accident when it was in my pocket. Why is it so easy to delete a door? I've almost lost it before just by touching the screen lightly. Reconnecting is such a hassle.

I installed and logged into the app. It works smoothly. I'm facing an issue with installing it on a second phone. I want to keep it on my first phone while setting it up on my second phone. My Samsung Galaxy S9 needs the app since I use it away from home. The virtual key feature is helpful, but it doesn't quite fit my needs. Thank you!

The app worked fine before the update. It opened and closed the garage door as intended. After the update, everything changed. It didn't recognize my login anymore. I created a new account, but then it said the Serial Number of the opener was not valid. Before the update, I already faced issues. The garage door would only open about two inches off the ground. To fully open it, I had to lower it again. This problem happened with the wall button, remote controls, and the app itself. It seemed to occur after the door sat unused for hours. Now, without the app, the door opens perfectly fine using the wall unit and the remotes. This situation makes me think the app caused the original issues. I didn’t use this feature much, but I bought the garage door for it, especially since it was free, unlike Chamberlin. If I had known about these problems earlier and that I would lose access, I would have chosen a better brand.

Great news! The developer addressed the bugs in the application and they’ve been resolved. The new update looks fantastic. Before this, there was an issue with signing in. The app was working fine until suddenly getting signed out. The email address wasn’t recognized. Attempts to reset the password failed. Creating a new account was impossible too. It left users confused and frustrated. Thankfully, that's all sorted out now!

It feels good when it works. The response time can be slow, but it has some nice features. Reliability is the issue. Today was a real concern. It opened the door and recorded an error for not closing, even though someone had already closed it. This creates a security risk. Everything else seems fine—strong battery, solid Wi-Fi signals. Unfortunately, the software just doesn’t hold up.

A few days ago, the app kept going offline. Now it happens every night at 2:30. It comes back for the day. The app seemed decent and reliable until that strange night. Lately, the garage door keeps showing as open, even though it isn’t. Just got a notification about it, but it’s six hours late according to the app. I added my own sensor to monitor the garage door. Good move. Please fix this.
