2.Do I already need to be a Virgin customer?

Short answer: no, you don’t. Virgin Red welcomes everyone as long as you’re a UK or US resident and are over 18 – sorry kids. All you need to do is sign up in a few clicks and start rewarding yourself.

If you are a Virgin customer, you can link your account to Virgin Atlantic Flying Club or Virgin Wines. Link your Flying Club account to Virgin Red and see all your Virgin Points in one place. Or link your Virgin Wines Discovery Club account and earn Virgin Points on your alcohol purchases.

3.How can I earn Virgin Points?

The ways to earn are endless – everything from your online shopping, booking train tickets or flights, to entering competitions or playing games. You can even convert your weekly shop into Virgin Points.

If you’re looking for something on the app, use the search bar to find it faster or filter by category to narrow your search.

Select the offer you wish to earn Virgin Points with.

Tap “Get points” and you’ll be taken straight to the brand’s site. Shop as you would normally, and we’ll provide the points.

Make your purchase and the points are yours. Make sure you check the individual offer for how long it takes to credit your Virgin Points.

You can tap the heart icon to favourite an offer you like and come back to earn more points later.

4.How do I spend Virgin Points?

Shopping without rewards is pointless. Lucky for you, Virgin Red is the home of rewards, and we’ve got more than 200 offers for you to choose from.

To spend your points, tap “Spend” online or in the app. Scroll or search for the brand you’re looking for. It could be anything from a case of wine or family day out to a cruise around the Caribbean. Hit “Redeem” and reward yourself with Virgin Red.

If you find something you don’t have enough points for yet, hit the heart icon in the corner to favourite it for next time.

5.Can I link my Virgin Atlantic Flying Club account?

You can. And should! All you need to do is add your Virgin Atlantic Flying Club number when you sign up to Virgin Red, or you can do it later in the ‘Link accounts’ section of your Virgin Red account.

When your accounts are linked, you’ll see your Virgin Points from Virgin Red and Virgin Atlantic Flying Club as one balance. As a Flying Club member, you can earn points with Virgin Atlantic’s airline partners, plus over 150 ways to earn on Virgin Red.

Whatever you choose, the opportunities are endless when you’re a member of Virgin Red and Virgin Atlantic’s Flying Club.

6.Do I need a loyalty card?

Nope. All you need is the Virgin Red app or website.  

Shop through the app or website to earn points. Build your balance to spend points on big or small treats. Keep an eye on your balance in “Activity”. Any vouchers you purchase will sit in the “My rewards” section of your app, and you can see your order history in the “Orders” section – this covers any physical products like wine, merchandise and tickets. 

To use a voucher in person, take your phone to the retailer, show them your code or QR barcode and collect your coffee, or snack, or whatever treat you’ve redeemed.
