Most hotel-casinos do not have e-mail addresses for general use. VEGAS.com lists addresses for all the Strip hotels on our hotel page, as well as a phone number for room reservations. You can use one of the major search engines to find websites for the hotels.
How can I find when a (show/event/concert) is occurring? How can I purchase tickets?
We have two calendars that might be useful to you. The first is a simple list of upcoming headliners The second is a searchable calendar that will allow you to select the dates of your visit and see all the acts performing during that time. Between the two, you should have no trouble keeping an eye out for any act that interests you or finding out what's hot in Vegas on a particular date. How do I get around on the Strip?
There are a few ways to move around on the Strip: by foot, by bus, by monorail, by shuttle and by taxicab.

Public buses have routes that travel the Strip. VEGAS.com has information on the CAT bus system and links to their schedules. The Vegas Strip routes are 301 and 302.
There is a monorail between between the Excalibur, the Luxor and Mandalay Bay. The Las Vegas Monorail has stops at the MGM Grand, Bally's / Paris, Flamingo, Harrah's / Imperial Palace, Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas Hilton and the Sahara.
Some casinos also offer free shuttle rides. You can find these listed under individual casinos on our hotel page. Just click on the resort-casino you're interested in and scroll down to the Shuttles category to see whether the casino offers the service.
All Strip casinos have a pick-up area for cabs, where patrons wait in line for the next available vehicle. There's no need to call a taxi, but expect longer waits on busier weekends.
How much is a taxi from McCarran International Airport to the Las Vegas Strip?
The cost depends on traffic and your precise destination on the Strip. The range is $8-$20. Some airport shuttles will take you over the same ground for $4 -- see our shuttles page for more information.
