Toyota Financial Services - Manage car payments

The app used to be great. But ever since they updated it, it's been terrible. I like to split my payments throughout the month. But today, when I tried to pay the second part of my bill, it said the first payment from the start of July hadn't gone through yet! And on top of that, the app is so hard to get into most of the time. It's really unfair for those who might get penalized because the app isn't working properly.

The app never keeps my login details in mind and the fingerprint feature doesn't even work. Every time I open the app, I have to reset my password. Lately, when I tried to use it, there were some "technical difficulties", so now I can't log in at all. Dealing with this app has been a major hassle and it makes me doubt its security. Knowing how unreliable it is now, I wouldn't have even bothered getting it.

Hey, so there's this app that used to remember your login stuff but now it doesn't. This has been happening for a while now. I'm not the only one facing this issue, as two other people I know who use the app on different devices are also experiencing the same problem. Even though I get emails confirming that I signed up for features like fingerprint login, when I open the app, everything is empty. It might not sound like a big deal, but I have to enter my username, password, verification email, security question, and fingerprint each time I want to log in.

The app works okay. I've had some good and bad experiences with it. They are understanding if you're a bit late in paying, as long as it's not over a month late. But, it takes a while for them to take out the money from your bank, so the account management and budgeting features can be deceiving. I'll set up a payment and only see it show on my account much later than expected, sometimes even weeks or a month later.

Ugh, this thing is terrible. I only use it to pay. It's annoying to keep calling for payments. They need to improve and solve the problems. I always change my password because it says it's wrong. Even with fingerprint set up, it doesn't work. Keeps asking me to set it up from my phone. I have a galaxy s9+, so it's not my phone's fault. Toyota needs to do something. It's been months and they haven't fixed it yet.

This app is confusing and not helpful at all. Every time you try to use it, you have to go through the whole setup process from scratch - logging in, setting up passwords, enabling fingerprint, answering security questions, and verifying your email. Even when you don't log out properly, the app wipes everything out when you open it again within seconds. I gave up on it and uninstalled it because it's not worth my time. It's much simpler to just use my computer instead.

I'm unhappy with the changes made to the app. My payment was taken out on the 18th instead of the 1st. When setting up a recurring payment, I got double charged. Now it shows two payments due tomorrow. Please remove the automatic date entry feature in the app as it keeps resetting. The previous version was simpler and more user-friendly. Additionally, the transaction history is missing.

The user experience is terrible in the app, not just with the way it looks but also with the choices available. You can't set up automatic payments within the app itself; it takes you to the website where you have to fill out forms and submit them. Even when you call Customer Service, you can't cancel automatic payments. Signing in to the app is a real pain - there's no option to "remember this device," and even though I've set up fingerprint login more than 20 times, I still have to go through two-way verification every time I sign in.

This new app is harder to use and provides less information compared to the previous one. I enjoyed using Toyota's lending app because it made payments easy and clearly showed how much went towards interest and principal. I set up a payment ahead of time, but it didn't show in the scheduled list, so I manually submitted the payment on the due date. Then, both payments went through the next day. Whoever thought this was an improvement should be fired. It was a terrible experience.
