Sound Profile (Volume control) - Customize sound settings

The Sound Profile feature allows users to automatically adjust volume levels based on specific conditions such as time, location, and events. Users can create multiple profiles and easily switch between them to ensure the appropriate sound settings for different situations. For instance, transitioning from a quiet profile at night to a louder one during the day, or choosing a calls-only profile while at work.

Sound Profile distinguishes between calls volume and notifications volume, enabling users to set specific levels for each.

The feature also manages the Do Not Disturb mode of the device, allowing users to specify a list of favorite contacts permitted to contact them in each profile. In silent profiles, calls and messages from designated contacts are allowed to come through.

Profiles can be activated with time limits to prevent user forgetfulness, for example, setting a "meeting mode" to last for 30 minutes.

Users can schedule profiles to activate automatically at specific times according to their weekly plan. For instance, activating a Loud profile at 6:00 am and a Silent profile at 8:00 pm.

Personalizing the appearance of the device by assigning specific wallpapers to each profile makes it easier to differentiate between them.

Additionally, features include allowing "repeating callers" to bypass silent settings, autodialing configurations, integration with Android Calendar events, defining notification exceptions for specific apps, and many more helpful functions.

⭐Tasks and Events:

-Activate profile "Car" when my car Bluetooth is connected.

-Activate profile "Home" when my home Wi-Fi is detected.

-Activate profile "Job" when getting close to my job.

⭐Autodialing:

-Activate your voicemail in a profile and deactivate it in another.

-Activate call forwarding.

⭐Android Calendar:

Activate profiles depending on your Calendar events or reminders.

⭐Notification Exceptions:

Define parameters for specific apps that you will allow to sound. For example, in a Silent profile allow the "Fire alarm" or "Door alarm" messages to sound.

⭐More features:

-Display a reminder every time you enter a specific location.

-Execute external apps depending on conditions: If headphones are connected, then open Spotify.

-Set the screen timeout and screen brightness according to the activated profile.

-Have different ringtones: A more discreet one when at work but your favourite music when at home.

-Set the starred contacts: Your coworkers when at work and your friends during the weekend.

-Lock volumes to avoid being modified accidentally by pressing the side buttons.

-Extended notification: Displays the sound profile, as well as provides access to quickly activate the most used profiles.

-Google Assistant: Activate your profiles with your voice: "Hey Google, activate Silent for 30 minutes, then activate profile Loud".

-Automation apps: Let other automation apps (like Tasker, AutomateIt, Macrodroid...) activate the profiles created in Sound Profile.

-Shortcuts: Create icons on the homescreen that provide quick access to a profile with parameters.

This app is not free. After the trial period it requires a small low-cost subscription.

Create A New Profile

- Open Sound Profile and tap on the menu 

- Tap on Edit Profiles

- Tap on the add icon . You will be asked if you wish to create a new profile. Tap on OK.

- You will be asked to create a new profile or copy the settings from another profile. Tap on New.

- Type the name of the new profile

    Set the values you need scrolling along the screen. Remember you can collapse or Expand the Sections clicking on the section name or on the section arrow.

- Once you are done, don’t forget to tap on Save.

Tones

- Open Sound Profile and open menu 

- Tap on Edit Profiles 

- Select the profile you want to change the tones.

- Expand the Ringtones section.

- Activate the option ‘Allow this profile to modify ringtones‘.

- Click on the Tone (please note there are 2 tone buttons. One for calls, the other one for the default notification).

- A list with the available ringtones in your phone will be displayed. Choose the one you want.

- Don’t forget to Save your changes.

    As you can see in the screenshot, you can optionally copy these ringtones to the rest of the profiles.
