Sony - Camera & video editing

I rate it 2 stars for various reasons. On the positive side, it allows you to adjust many settings like the equalizer and ambient sound. However, the user interface looks poorly designed and seems rushed. Also, it's inconvenient to require an app to use the product. The major issue is that the ambient sound control setting doesn't save, so I have to manually change it every time I use my headphones.

I have never used earbuds that sound as good as these ones. Some people don't find them very comfortable because of the tight fit with the new foam tips, but I think they are incredibly comfortable. The sound quality is amazing and definitely worth the money. The noise cancelling feature, speak to chat, and the app (I use a Samsung Note 20 Ultra) are perfect additional features.

Everything was fine with the device, but suddenly it started activating the "speak to chat" feature on its own. When I tried to turn it off in the app, I couldn't because the privacy policy dialog popped up and blocked everything. As a result, the app became unusable. Although I don't mind not being able to use the product I paid for, I really wanted to read that privacy policy. After all, the main reason I bought this product was to delve into those captivating privacy policies.

This app is seriously underrated. The user interface is simple and easy to use. The sound quality can be improved using personalized equalizers and presets like arena, outdoor stage, and club. Each preset gives a unique feel to the music. The developers have done a great job enhancing sound effects in movies and videos. It's all about great sounds and great fun.Thank you to the developers for this awesome app.

The app is annoying to use because the most important features are not easily accessible. Every time you open it, a pop-up about updates for headphones you don't own appears and you can't dismiss it immediately. You can only adjust the EQ from the widget, but I usually set it once and leave it.

I have the XM3's and I really love them. The noise cancelation and sound quality are amazing! The app is also really good. My only issue is with the voice confirmation setting when changing pass-through or noise cancelation. It can be annoying. I can turn it off, but then I can't check my battery level. These two should be separate.

The app has many ways to customize your listening experience and it's pretty reliable. It helps you monitor your headphone usage. On the downside, it might be a bit tough for beginners. Some products lack quality of life options like silencing notifications on XM5s. There are some features that need improvement, like adaptive sound control may not always detect actions accurately.

Sony's recent updates have really made using the XM5 headphones a top-notch experience. The new firmware upgrade has taken things to the next level. However, the previous review mentioned some issues with the interface design of the app. It seems that features and messages are not well organized and adjusting settings can be a bit tricky. The suggestion is to take inspiration from Apple's phone settings layout for a more user-friendly design. Sometimes imitating a successful model is better than trying to innovate from scratch.
