This screen dimmer app is excellent and there's not much I would want to change about it. I like how I am able to turn on the dimming function just from the permanent notification for the app, and it will immediately set the screen to the dimness level that I had previously left it on. The only minor issue I have with it is that the permanent notification is sometimes minimized, so I have to tap on it to expand it before I can see and tap the controls to either turn it on or adjust the dimness.

it does its job very well but there are a few improvements to make it a perfect user experience. Whenever i turn the function on, my keyboard and overall phone becomes laggy. I guess it kind of disturbed the phone's performance? Next, it would be better if you allow the notification to always stay in the notification bar and not disappear when the dimmer is turned off. Overall, no ads and easy control, a very good app.

it's a great idea. love how easy it is to use. it's amazing. my only problem is that some nights it won't turn on with the schedule I set. it will turn off exactly at 6 am like I set, but at night, whether it's 8pm 759pm, ECT. it won't turn on recently. worked great for months and now suddenly the last few weeks, it's stopped working.

Great app. Basic functionalities with no frills and an easy-to-use UI. The screen dimmer can be finely tuned for any personal preference in the moment. I have found myself using the app banner in the notification area instead of the built-in Android brightness slider because of the easy and fine controls!

I get migraines a lot because of health issues and so the normal brightness on phones can still feel too bright when turned all the way down but I've been using this app for years now and it goes beyond the default brightness settings and made using my phone so much easier! if you have issues with brightness on screens, genuinely, this will be one of the best apps on your phone! even when I'm having days where i need to essentially blindfold myself, I'm still able to talk with people!

I love this app, it works so well and completely darkens my screen with many options from slightly darker to the entire screen going black. It has an easy notification to adjust the brightness or turn it on/off while using and does not have many ads or annoying pop ups. Does the job perfectly every night!!

It's great! It works on the whole screen, and I have it in the quick access section (when you drag down on the top of your screen, above the notifications) so I don't even need to open the app to use it. Very easy to change the brightness settings from the notification center. Convinent and effetive. You can even change the screen tint color, like to put a yellow/orange filter on to block blue light. Easy to turn off and on.

Best free dimmer app out there! The best thing by far is that the ads are tiny & not pop ups!! Thank you!! Way more options to configure than others, full controls in the pull down menu of my phone - so convenient. I can actually just press the arrow down button to make it slightly more or less dim. It goes almost totally black if you want it to, but there are safeguards in place so that it doesn't get stuck that way. I love the shake to turn off option. This app is truly the best!!!

This app had been great, but since recently getting a Samsung Galaxy S21 phone, no matter what I do it keeps "forgetting" I've granted the necessary permissions (& I have it set to not remove permissions if the app isn't used, though I use it daily anyway). It even still shows up as having the proper permissions in settings. I don't have the issue with any other apps, so I have to assume it's an app issue not a phone one. & either way, end result is the same: it doesn't reliably work on my S21.
