Performance

Samsung Music delivers solid performance, with users praising its reliability and the quality of its audio playback. It also seems to handle large music libraries well, with users reporting smooth, lag-free operation even when dealing with thousands of tracks.

However, some users have reported issues with the app recognizing all of their music, particularly when stored on an SD card. This is something to keep in mind if you plan on using the app with a large music library stored externally.

This app does everything I need it to do, which is great! To Samsung, if you're reading this, please don't make any big changes to this app. It works really well and is a wonderful alternative to the Google Play Music app I used before. I tried using a third-party app at one point, but the playlist feature on it was awful. It wouldn't let me choose a song from the playlist if it had already played.

So, this app used to be great until they decided to throw in those annoying ads. I mean, come on! You open it and boom - there they are, boldly taking up space at the top of your songs list. It's frustrating because all I want is to enjoy my own music on my phone without being bombarded by ads. And now, they've also added Spotify, which I personally don't even use. Moreover, I've been experiencing issues playing songs recently, something that never happened before. At this rate, I might just end up deleting this app altogether.

Oh, this music player was awesome before, but the recent updates made it less visually appealing. It might sound minor, but its visual appeal was the main reason I chose this one over other music players. The new white layout is just not attractive, and I really miss those small details from the old versions, like the matching edge and music bar colors based on the album's color.

I'm really bummed out about the new look. I used to love the black background because it was perfect for listening to music at night without a bright light glaring at me. Now, I can't even edit my music tracks anymore! Plus, all my album covers have been replaced with pictures of grass - what's up with that? I really wish they would let us choose to switch back to the old setup.

Hey, I totally get what you mean! The app works really well and is awesome. But hey, the new design, trying to mimic iPhone? Not feeling it. The white background can be a bit annoying, right? And not being able to change it is just frustrating. My only issue with the app is how it looks, everything else is solid. You're hoping Samsung brings back the old look, maybe as an option or something.

This app is awesome! It's free and a fantastic way to stream music. I've been using it on all my Samsung devices ever since I got my first phone back in 2015. One thing I'd really appreciate is if you could include a feature to change the picture for your playlists. For example, Spotify allows users to use their own photos as the playlist 'profile picture,' and I think adding this option would be a cool addition to the app. Just wanted to share my thoughts – no negativity towards the app, but it would mean a lot to me if you could consider adding customizable playlist art 🙂

I found this really cool music app that I started using when Google Music stopped working and they tried to get me to switch to YouTube Music. They were wrong though, because this new app is way better! I really like the dark mode, the app runs super fast, and I'm a fan of the overall design. Plus, it's free except for a tiny ad that pops up in the tracks (barely noticeable), and it comes packed with awesome features. The only thing I'd suggest is adding a "play next" feature for songs. Google Music had it and it was so handy, you could just queue up the next song without having to rewind or add it to a playlist multiple times.

This app is amazing because it lets me listen to my offline songs in a world where streaming is the norm. I prefer offline music, and this app is a dream with no ads. One small suggestion would be adding a "Play Next" feature for tracks we want to hear next. Other than that, it's a fantastic app!
