• Guillaume Adam co-authored a scientific study at MIT (Boston) regarding the prediction of running performances. He placed among the top 50 at the 2019 New York Marathon, finishing with a time of 2:26, and boasts an impressive running career that includes a sub-4 minute mile and numerous international competitions for France.

As a Certified Coach, he created the Artificial Intelligence (AI) that designs your adaptive training plan.

• Romain Adam has a marathon personal best of 2:38 and specializes in startup development. His upcoming challenge is competing in the Paris Marathon, utilizing the RunMotion Coach marathon training strategy.

I'm a beginner, is RunMotion right for me?

Welcome to the big family of runners! We've all put on our first pair of running shoes at some point. The app is ideal for getting started with running. You can set a first goal of running for 30 minutes or 1 hour without stopping.

For 6 weeks, you'll have sessions alternating between walking and running, and we bet you'll manage to run for 30 minutes without stopping 😉

You'll also find wellness, weight loss, and smoking cessation goals.

Can I prepare for my next marathon with the app?

RunMotion Coach's training plans have been prepared for all road distances: 5km, 10km, half-marathon, and marathon, by experienced coaches who have trained runners from beginner to international level. It's therefore entirely possible for you to get a marathon training plan on the app.

Long runs last up to 2.5 hours, depending on your profile and when you set the marathon as your goal.

Is the training suitable for trail running?

RunMotion Coach's training programs have been designed for trail running, with specific sessions such as hike-running and threshold training, adapted to your available terrain (urban or mountain).

When creating your trail or ultra-trail training plan, your digital coach takes into account the distance and elevation gain of your trail running goals.

Physical preparation, cross-training in cycling, skiing, swimming, and nutrition content are also available in Premium mode.

Based in the Alps, RunMotion Coach has been the official UTMB® coach since 2021.

I want to lose weight, is it right for me?

Yes, absolutely! Whether you want to get back in shape, lose a few pounds, or feel better about your body, RunMotion Coach will guide you with a personalized program tailored to your level and your goals.

I don't have a GPS watch, does it work for me?

Yes, no problem! You can follow your training plan perfectly without a GPS watch. The app guides you session by session, and you can manually record your runs if needed, or sync it with a tracking app like Strava.

If you ever want to switch to a watch, RunMotion Coach is compatible with major brands (Garmin, Coros, Polar, Suunto, Apple Watch, Fitbit, etc.).

But at the beginning, a good pair of running shoes and motivation are all you need to get started 💪

Is there strength training in the app?

Yes, there is strength training in the app, designed with a physiotherapist 💪

In the Premium version, you have access to physical conditioning sessions (PGT) adapted to runners, whether to gain strength, stability, or prevent injuries.

You'll find:

– more than 50 core and muscle strengthening exercises

– routines to do at home, without equipment (you can add a weight like a dumbbell if you wish)

RunMotion's Muscle Strengthening module is a guided video module that's very intuitive.

You can indicate your PGT experience: beginner, intermediate, advanced, or expert. The training circuits are different depending on the level and the objective prepared (road/trail) 🏃‍♂️🔥

    This app offers structured training that won’t break the bank. It shines for running programs, but it handles other sports nicely too. The AI insights from session results and your feedback add a nice touch. Real-time updates to your weekly plan would be a fantastic addition. Sometimes, I’ve wanted to shuffle a few sessions, but I’ve had to do that myself for now.

    The latest update caused the app to crash right at launch. It wouldn't even open. After some time, it finally started working again, but now there’s another problem. I can't log in or create a new account at all. When I try, the button just doesn't respond. It feels super frustrating.

    Try restarting the app first. Close it completely and open it again. If that doesn't work, check for updates in the app store. Sometimes, an update can fix bugs. If your week plan still doesn’t show and the Goal feature crashes, consider clearing the app's cache in your device settings. You might also want to uninstall and then reinstall the app. If issues continue, reach out to customer support for assistance. They may have specific solutions for you.

    This app is fantastic. The yearly fee of €90 feels a bit steep for me. I noticed something interesting. I uploaded two workouts to Strava, a run and a walk. Only the walk appeared in the app initially. After using the upload feature to get my last 50 workouts, the run finally showed up.

    The running schedule and plans are amazing. I feel stronger every day. The motivational coach brings great energy, but the grammar could use some improvement. I often have to reread the messages several times to figure out what they mean. Fixing this would make the app an incredible running tool.
