I already have an intercom handset. How can I connect your service?
To find out if the RosDomofon smart intercom service is connected in your home, download our company's app and leave a connection request. A service provider will contact you and provide details. If the intercom is not connected, please contact us by writing to sales@rosdomofon.com.
Can I use the service without an intercom handset?
Of course I can! The main idea of RosDomofon is freedom of movement around the world with the ability to control what is happening in the house directly from your smartphone and know who came while you were away.
Can household members use the smart intercom?
Of course! The apartment owner gets access to the application and can share it with their loved ones.
How much does it cost to connect a smart intercom?
The price for using the service is set by the telecom operator, management company or intercom company. Payment consists of using the system services, equipment costs, Internet and installation work. Often the functionality of the RosDomofon - Your Smart Intercom application is included in a package with other operator services or is paid for separately.
I left a request, but they won't connect me. What should I do?
Most likely, your house is not yet connected to the RosDomofon service. Call the management company to connect our smart intercom. You can also tell your neighbors about the RosDomofon service and submit a collective request. According to the Housing Code of the Russian Federation, the management company is obliged to respond to such a request.
Why specify a phone number and address in the application?
Your smartphone will receive a code to enter the RosDomofon - Your Smart Intercom application. We care about security, so we check your application so that strangers do not have the opportunity to view surveillance data for the yard or entrance. After confirming your identity and signing the contract, you will have access to outdoor surveillance cameras, an intercom video camera and other services connected by the partner.
Where can I get a key for the intercom?
All electronic keys for the intercom, gate, barrier, gate and parking are in the RosDomofon application. Therefore, they are always at hand. Such an online key can be shared within the service. Detailed instructions on how to do this are given in the training video.
If you need a physical key for a smart intercom, contact the company that services the device in your entrance.
How can residents install the system themselves?
To activate the RosDomofon service in your home, you need access to intercom, video and Internet equipment. Connection is possible only through the management company or organization servicing the intercom and other security systems in the house. If you do not know where to go, let us know - we will help you find a contractor.
How to install video surveillance cameras in the yard?
To install video cameras around the perimeter of the yard (or in the entrance), contact the management company with the corresponding request. If they do not help you resolve the issue, then write to sales@rosdomofon.com - we will find a contractor who will do the installation, and we will help you prove to the management company the need to install a video surveillance system.
Where can I get an archive of video camera recordings?
In addition to you, only the management company and the organization servicing the video surveillance system have access to the recordings from the cameras in the yard. Video camera recordings are available in the RosDomofon — Your Smart Intercom application. To view, click on the archive icon next to the desired camera. Instructions on how to download a short video fragment are available in the Knowledge Base section.
If you need to provide video to government agencies in the format of a file with a recording, find the desired moment in the archive and ask the organization servicing the video surveillance system to send it.
