Red Movilidad, the official application of the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications, is designed to enhance the travel experience of users of public transport in Santiago, Chile. The traffic of this application is free for users of Claro, Entel, Movistar, and WOM companies.
Red is an app that provides information to users and allows them to share it. It enables users to:
- Plan a trip by Bus, Metro, and MetrotrenNos.
- Know the Arrival Time of a Bus/TrainNos at a Stop/Station
- Alerts to Users at Stops (detours)
- User Reporting (evaluate the status of a bus or a stop)
- Map of areas near your location, showing buses approaching the stop
- Load a bip! card or bip!QR and travel using a QR code
How to install Red Movilidad on your Android device:
Click on the Continue To App button on our website. This will redirect you to Google Play.
Once the Red Movilidad is shown in the Google Play listing of your Android device, you can start its download and installation. Tap on the Install button located below the search bar and to the right of the app icon.
A pop-up window with the permissions required by Red Movilidad will be shown. Click on Accept to continue the process.
Red Movilidad will be downloaded onto your device, displaying a progress. Once the download completes, the installation will start and you'll get a notification after the installation is finished.
