This application allows you to listen to any of the various radio stations of the Novo Tempo Network in South America. It also allows you to follow what the radio stations are posting on social media.

Radio Novo Tempo(also called the Novo Tempo Radio Network) is a network of radio stations headquartered in Jacareí, São Paulo. It is owned by the Novo Tempo Communication Network, which belongs to the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Its programming is focused on gospel music, religious programs, and journalism. It broadcasts on AM, FM, and worldwide through tropical shortwave, the internet, satellite, and local stations in different languages.

History of Radio Novo Tempo

The history of the Novo Tempo Communication Network begins in 1943, when the radio program A Voz da Profecia (Voice of Prophecy - VP) was launched in Brazil. Until then, it had only been broadcast in the United States. Here, everything began with Pastor Roberto Rabello and his unforgettable opening announcement: “We present the Voice of Prophecy program, a message of faith and hope that proclaims the return of the Lord.” Initially accompanied by the King’s Heralds, a North American quartet, VP became the first evangelical radio program in Brazil and the forerunner of what we now know as the Novo Tempo Communication Network. Years later, the Brazilian quartet Arautos do Rei (Heralds of the King) was formed and became the official musical group of VP.

With the advancement of technology, there arose a need to conduct broadcasts with both audio and video, although there was still no television infrastructure for this. Broadcasts were then carried out via the NSS 806 satellite, which covers the Americas and Europe.

Currently, the Novo Tempo Communication Network produces content for TV, radio, and the internet in Portuguese and Spanish, 24 hours a day. With modern and spacious facilities, it has six studios, forming a production and recording complex with 19,000 square meters of infrastructure, where nearly 600 employees work.

TV Novo Tempo is available in more than 450 Brazilian cities via over-the-air broadcasting, including 25 of the 27 state capitals. It is also present on all pay-TV providers in Brazil as well as on all satellite dishes, making its programming available to more than 170 million Brazilians. The IS 10 satellite transmits the station’s signal to Angola, Mozambique, and São Tomé and Príncipe. Outside Brazil, the potential reach via satellite is estimated at around 45 million people—and now, with the internet, it’s unlimited.

TV Novo Tempo and TV Nuevo Tiempo bring hope to all of South America. Together, they produce 79 programs, totaling 118 hours of new weekly programming—36 programs with 60 new weekly hours from TV Novo Tempo, and 43 programs with 58 new weekly hours from TV Nuevo Tiempo, produced in Brazil and in six other media centers spread across the South American continent.

Novo Tempo’s content also expands through the internet. The NT Play platform, available in Portuguese and Spanish, features TV programs, radio podcasts, and music from its record label, along with original content created especially for digital audiences. Through its dozens of social media platforms and broadcast lists, Novo Tempo connects and interacts daily with thousands of internet users, inviting people to study the Bible via WhatsApp with its virtual assistant, Esperança (Hope).
