Can I access an audiovisual document from the archive?

RTVE does not market its content to individuals, but it may be available for consultation for university research purposes: doctoral theses, master's theses, and professors' research. Requests should be sent to the following email address: archivortve@rtve.es (individual requests are not accepted).

Requests for the acquisition of rights to content from the RTVE Documentary Collection by entities and companies for professional use (including production companies and media outlets), and for any inquiries related to the NO-DO Archive, should be sent to the following email address, belonging to the Music and Image Unit of the Commercial Directorate: comercial.ventadearchivo@rtve.es.

If the request comes from institutions and non-profit entities, content from the Documentary Collection is provided for justified, specific, time-limited, and non-profit uses. If these requirements are met, requests will be processed at atencion.instituciones@rtve.es, and transfers will be formalized with the signing of a letter of commitment and payment of a fee for technical costs.

In addition, individual RTVE Play users can access the latest broadcast content from their own productions on the website www.rtve.es, where new series and programs from the digitized archive are published daily.

Can I watch TVE programs online?

RTVE.es broadcasts live programming from La1, La2, Teledeporte, and Canal 24 Horas on computers, mobile phones, and tablets. Some programs, usually films and documentaries, cannot be viewed online due to restrictions in audiovisual rights agreements.

The "RTVE Play" service is also available online, offering high-quality viewing of nearly 100,000 hours of television, including videos of series, documentaries, news programs, and other programs.
