FAQ
Why can't I hear the voice commentary? How can I adjust the volume?
After starting a practice session, if you tap the screen and pause the session, you can use the Music/Vocal slider to adjust the volume ratio between the music and vocals, and then increase or decrease the overall volume on your device.
How can I switch background music styles?
We offer a variety of music styles, and we're constantly adding new ones! In the app, swipe up in the settings and select Music to switch styles! On the web, swipe through the settings and tap Music.
I want to listen to my own music while practicing. How can I completely turn off background music in the app?
To turn off the music in the app, swipe up in the settings, select Music, and then select None in the Music Style section.
If you want to play your own music, you can use other apps on your device. However, even though the voice commentary is set to maximum volume on phones and tablets by default, it's sometimes not enough to drown out music from apps like Spotify and iTunes.
If you encounter this situation, we recommend using external speakers to play music, or using the web version of the app (https://www.downdogapp.com/web) on a laptop or desktop computer to lower the background music volume.
How do I switch between voiceovers?
