Calendar

In Android, you can manually set the app to use one of the following themes in the Settings Screen:

- Light

- Dark

- System Default

Currently, iOS devices do not support this feature and the app dark/light theme setting is based on the iOS system setting. The calendar will always be displayed as light theme regardless of the app theme.

The calendar week number information is only available for the 'Top to Bottom' calendar orientation layout.

You may configure this at:

'Settings' -> 'Calendar Settings' -> 'Calendar Orientation'

You may configure this at:

'Settings' -> 'Calendar Settings' -> toggle 'Show Festival Image' to off state.

In-app Purchase

The 'Remove Ads' in-app purchase is a one-time payment.

In some regions or platforms, this option may no longer be available. Instead, ad removal may be included as part of a subscription package.

Your purchase will usually be restored automatically when you launch the app.

If not, you can manually restore it by going to 'Settings' and tapping 'Restore Purchase'.

In-app purchases are tied to your platform and account. You can only restore purchases made using the same platform and same account.

For example, on Google Play, you will not be able to restore purchases if the app is installed using a different Google account. Please ensure the app is installed via Google Play using the same Google account used for the original purchase.

Purchases or subscriptions made through the app store are non-transferable. They can only be used within the same account and same app store platform.

Access will not carry over to other accounts, platforms, or app stores.

If you have previously purchased or subscribed to a plan, please ensure that:

- You are using the same account that was originally used to make the purchase, and

- The app is installed from the same app store and platform (e.g., Google Play, Apple App Store, or Huawei AppGallery).

⚠️ Important: The app must be installed using the same platform account (such as your Google account, Apple ID, or Huawei ID) that was used at the time of purchase. If the app is installed using a different account or from a different store, the purchase cannot be restored.

Data

There are 3 types of data you can migrate: Notes, Birthdays & Third-party Calendar Data

To migrate notes and birthday data:

• Calendar2U apps with User Account feature¹:

1. Sign up and login your account.

2. Ensure the notes and birthdays are synced by checking the last sync date in the Notes or Birthday Page.

• Other Calendar2U apps:

Android:

1. Old device: Backup the data for Notes & Birthdays in the Settings Page.

2. New device: Restore the data for Notes & Birthdays in the Settings Page.

iOS:

1. Old device: Navigate to 'Settings' -> 'Data Backup & Restore' to backup the data for Notes & Birthdays

2. New device: Navigate to 'Settings' -> 'Data Backup & Restore' to restore the data for Notes & Birthdays

You don't have to do anything to migrate third-party calendar data. You only need to sync the 3rd-party calendar account (Google Calendar, Apple iCloud Calendar, Huawei Calendar) on the new device.
