Overdrop - Weather forecast & widget

Great news! The problem has been resolved. Thanks to the developer for addressing it quickly. I appreciate this app a lot! It's user-friendly, has a neat design, and features cute minimalist artwork. However, after the recent update, my phone was overheating and the battery was draining rapidly. In fact, the app was consuming a whopping 24% of my battery usage. I hope this can be fixed soon. Also, I've noticed I'm experiencing the same connection problem that others have mentioned. Until these issues are resolved, I'll probably have to uninstall the app.

Dark Sky used to be a good weather app, but I'm thinking of switching because the subscription cost went up a lot. If Overdrop can provide real-time forecasts, although it's tough to do, then maybe I'll stick with it at that price. It's interesting that the price hike came around the same time Dark Sky stopped its API support, potentially reducing Overdrop's features.

This app is really great. I tried many weather apps before deciding to buy the premium version. The user interface is lovely, and the notifications are clean and detailed with the premium upgrade. It's definitely a big plus for me.

I got this app to have the "At A Glance" widget since Google's weather kept disappearing. After trying some other apps, I found Overdrop is now my top choice. I like its minimalism and clean design. The widgets are functional and update smoothly without needing constant refreshing. It would be great if all themes had a dark mode option - please consider adding this in the future. Thank you.

Oh, I have to say, I really like using Dark Sky and find the app quite beautiful. But I find the radar pretty hard to understand. I do appreciate the wind direction feature, though – that's really great! The hyperlocal function seems a bit inaccurate too. There was a strong storm, we were warned about it for hours, but the app showed sunny skies and didn't alert us about the tornado warning that was issued. I really want to love this app, but it still needs some improvements. Thanks for putting in the hard work until now!

This app is stunning, that's why I prefer it to AccuWeather (mostly). Yet, I think there are some ways to make it even better without adding subscription features. For instance, the hourly temperature and rain percentage are in separate tabs. It would be more user-friendly if they were layered on top of one another to save time from switching between the two. The themes are delightful, but having a few more options would be great, especially if there was a theme that automatically changed based on whether it was day or night.

I used to rely on Dark Sky for accurate minute-by-minute weather information, and it was designed really well. Though the app I switched to isn't an exact replacement, it serves all the purposes that made me pay for Dark Sky. It's free too! But honestly, I do still wish I could go back to using Dark Sky.
