How do I cancel an order?
From the Check Order Status page, you can cancel your order at any time using the "Cancel My Order" button.
You have the option to cancel your entire order or individual items from your order, and we will send you a cancellation confirmation email when completed.
If your order has been approved for shipping you will not be able to cancel the order through the website. Please contact us, and we will help you cancel your order.

How do I know if you have a product in stock?
How do I know if you have a product in-stock?
The Check Availability feature is located directly on product pages near the "Add to Cart" button and gives more details on the items' status.
We recommend checking if product is in stock before adding to cart and checking out.
How do I use the Check Availability feature?
Once you have located the product of your choice, there will be a section below the "Add to Cart" button that will indicate the product availability. Expand this section for more information about when the product is estimated to ship.
We use internal data and data provided by our procurement partners to come up with an estimate that gives you an idea of how long before we will be able to ship out an item.
This feature provides an estimate of shipping time based on a variety of factors and it may take longer than we estimate to ship an item. Some reasons for delays are:
Restricted item - If the government restricts an item for sale in the United States or for export, it will take a little longer to process.
Payment verification issues - We routinely verify payment information for the security of our customers.
Unforeseen delay from a supplier - We work with our suppliers to make sure that we have what you want when you want it, but occasionally suppliers will have unforeseen delays in production or shipment.
How do I protect My Account?
Users have full control of security measures protecting their accounts. These settings can be changed in Security Settings. Users may configure 2 Factor Authentication as well as set their Security Questions.
Two Factor Authentication is a security measure to protect your account. A short verification code will be sent to you in case of suspicious login activity. Select "Auto" to rely on our system for determining a suspicious activity or select "Always on" to receive a verification code for every authentication attempt you make.
Verification codes may be delivered by Email or SMS. Please note that you need to have verified email and phone numbers to enable this feature. You can do that in the Account Settings.
Security questions are necessary to recover an account in case access to the email or phone is lost.

You will receive an estimate based on when the manufacturer can get the item to our warehouse. This is the best estimate and subject to change. We are available to answer questions about the status of your backordered item.
Why does my backorder date keep changing?
We do our best, in conjunction with our suppliers, to meet or exceed every estimate we provide. Unfortunately, sometimes we aren't able to ship your item in the timeframe we hoped. If this happens, we'll email you to let you know and provide a new ETA if it is available. If you'd like to keep waiting, no action is required - we'll continue working hard to source your item and ship it out to you. If you decide you'd no longer like to wait, you can cancel your order for that item.
I have questions about the ETA of an ammo backorder, where can I find more information?
Demand for ammunition has greatly increased over the past year and is currently significantly exceeding supply. Unfortunately, that means many out-of-stock orders might experience extended delays. This does not apply to in-stock orders, which will be processed as usual. We are working tirelessly to secure as much inventory as possible, and we have large orders in place with suppliers as we are striving to meet current demand. We do not charge credit cards until orders are ready to ship.

If you have placed your order while logged in, you can find your order information under "Your Order History"
You'll find all your order details, and can also print an invoice, cancel an order, or return an item.
How do I view my order history if I don't have an account?
Currently, there is no way to view entire order history without an OpticsPlanet Account.
