A lot of people feel the same way. If you like the concept of the app but dislike the current version, look for version 1.6.1. You can install that and turn off updates in Google Play. This version gives you options for resolution, supports Chromecast, and lets you pause, fast forward, rewind, or start live broadcasts from the beginning. It's puzzling how they removed so many features from the old version and labeled it as an upgrade. The new version feels almost useless.

This app is fantastic! It lets users watch various news broadcasts. You can catch your local news or explore broadcasts from across the country. Best of all, it's completely free!

This app works perfectly. I switched from another one that bombarded me with loud and constant ads. The ads here feel much more tolerable. Navigation is a breeze, and it offers plenty of options for news stories. Unlike that other app, I'm not stuck with just one choice.

The old app felt perfect on my tablet. The video quality was great, and I loved the ability to rewind or fast forward during live broadcasts. Navigating through the map was so much simpler than scrolling through 'stations by state.' Changing broadcast channels now means closing the app, which is frustrating. The new app has a nice design, but that's where the positives end. It used to work like a charm, earning a solid 4-plus rating. Now it feels almost unusable. I'm exploring other options because this change feels like a giant step back.
